I’ve had 6 cameras for 4 years and they are simple to use but the UI is just so awful
  • Worked Well during trial Subscription

First month, all was well during cloud storage trial subscription. Hmm. So, I purchased a Sync Module 2 for local storage to avoid paying for subscription. Initially, all seemed great until the video timestamp shows I left my home 30 minutes early for an appointment a few minutes away. Upon further investigation, it was revealed the app video timestamps are all over the place. Rangeing from spot on to 29 minutes behind. Blink Support obviously tried to blame me. Then sent me a replacement module with the same issue. Blink, you probably know who this is because I’ve been communicating with you for months to fix this issue but you do not seem to care. You promised to fix it but never came through. So many app updates released and timestamp is still all over the place. I bet no one with a Sync Module 2 regularly verifies their video timestamp (I did not until that one incident occurred). Either Blink is refusing to fix the issue or does not know how to.
  • Mostly works but needs fixes

App is easy to navigate. Setup is easy. Problems though are the privacy zones or non active zones don’t work as they should. I have areas where I’ve blocked off the neighbors yard above the fence and it still triggers. No shadows, reflections, etc but it still sees the movement. Also it’d be nice to be able to permanently mute notifications but still record with motion. I don’t want just a temporary mute, I have cameras I want to see what they captured from movement when I check the app, but also don’t want to lose motion detection by permanently silencing the notifications. Latest issue is alerts on Apple Watch do not work or sync up properly. I will get multiple notifications on my Apple Watch hours or days later. They came across onto my phone just fine but not onto the watch. Lots of fixes need to happen still.

I love the cameras itself but the app is always acting up. Always freezing and not refreshing despite restarting everything. Very annoying

If you are worried someone is breaking in your home, you minus well get up and go look cause the camera never load right away they take like 3 to 5 minutes to load. If it says someone is at a certain camera and you go to replay the footage it may not be there or it may not load. Definitely not fast and not accurate. We’ve thought of going somewhere else for security cameras
  • False captures

I’m so sick and tired of this app lying and saying “ a person is infront of your house” and I check to see video clips and nothing is there! What’s the point of having these notifications if they are false alerts??? And another thing, why do I need to enter my home address for an AI feature of the app to work when it works either way?? Ridiculous.
  • Can’t use without expensive subscription

Started off decent, but over time the system became unreliable with frequent camera failures and delayed or missing video clips. I would receive motion alerts, but when I tried to view the footage, it often wouldn’t load or the recording was gone entirely. After the subscription ended, I still get motion notifications but can’t access the actual video, even when I know activity was recorded. It feels like essential security features are locked behind continued payment, and the app itself is slow and inconsistent. Not dependable for security. I would not recommend.
  • Login Issues

Fix your login issues or update to a new app. If I am paying for the service, then I need to be able to login into the app and see my devices. There should be a way where you can at least log online without the use of the app and see your devices. The app needs a serious makeover!
