  • Great if you have the money

Even the most basic workout plan is locked passed the first week. It’s unfair to force people into a 7day free trail, if once it ends you can’t use literally anything.

Watch app needs better functionality. I should be able to follow along on watch and phone, not one or the other. Watch app doesn’t show last weight and rep count. Hard to progress without. Both phone and watch app need a way to set max weight for each exercise. Shouldn’t keep recommending increase in weight/reps. Need more equipment listed. Some equipment at my gym isn’t listed in list. I’ve had app for a while now and I’m going to start looking at other options given the cost each month. Great for those starting out, not great for people at gym everyday.

It charged a yearly fee when it should be monthly. Cannot contact anyone to change or refund because it does not pull up a receipt of purchase
  • Not worth the hassle

Paid too much. Only used for the time and rep counter. I used workouts from another app. Then! Even though I had the subscription set to expire. Not renew! It still charged me for another year. Thanks for being another scam bot app
  • Too expensive

The app itself is good, but i don’t know why anyone would want to pay $20 a month for an app that used to be free. This is beyond greedy.

This is a great app, I’d recommend it to anyone. And it keeps getting better.
  • Just one fix needed

Keeps clearing and restarting my whole workout randomly! Half way through i have to remember ALL my sets and weights and reenter. Got done with the workout entered last set. Then i get home and wonder why the yellow gymverse icon is counting down at the top of my screen. Go into the app and it cleared my ENTIRE workout again!!! As if i hadnt even done a single rep 😡 i had to reenter the ENTIRE workout from freaking memory which defeats the whole purpose of having the app to begin with.

Wish the app would automatically organize workouts based on the equipment so you could knock everything out on the one machine instead of coming back to it on another workout. When gyms are busy it’s hard to get back on the equipment or make it easier to organize the workout order.
  • Severely Limited Customization & Workout Logic

This app worked well for me at first, but once I started building my own workouts, the limitations became really frustrating. The customization options are extremely limited and sometimes confusing. For example, I couldn’t select something as basic as an assisted underhand pull-up, and creating functional movements is almost impossible. There’s no way to build exercises that use both time and weight, like a farmer’s carry. Even trying to create a simple sprint workout is restrictive — you’re forced into generic “running” options with set time increments instead of being able to program intervals properly. The exercise library also feels incomplete. There are missing machine exercises and not enough variety overall. It would be a huge improvement if users could submit custom exercises to be added to the app. On top of that, the auto-generated workouts don’t seem to follow solid training principles. A “back workout” will often include multiple variations of the same movement (like two different lat pulldowns) instead of providing balanced variety. There doesn’t seem to be much consideration for how to train different muscle groups effectively or structure a well-rounded workout. Overall, the app is a decent starting point, but it falls short if you’re trying to train with intention, variety, and proper programming.
