  • Great but…

I think this app is great. It’s almost like playing a game. The gems and things you unlock try to keep you motivated. My one concern is I think the food list needs a big update. There are a few apps out there like LoseIt that has logging food much more detailed. Most of the time I type in something I ate and it doesn’t understand or gives me something similar but not really similar at all. It’s hard to explain. For example if I typed in broccoli with oil, it would give me broccoli and the maker is whatever, i truly don’t know how to explain it. I type in ground turkey and it gives me turkey slices or meatballs, like it just always gets the food wrong. If I did that on LoseIt it would have detailed break downs. I just feel like this food list needs an overhaul is all. Great app though. It’s fun!
  • $90+ App - Misleading “Free Trial” That Isn’t Free

Read Before Downloading! Don’t get scammed!! Foodvisor advertises a free 14 day “trial” depending on where you find their promotion. What they don’t tell you upfront: you are charged $90 for the full year the moment you sign up, before your “trial” even begins. Canceling is deliberately buried in the app, making it nearly impossible to find and you can’t “cancel” you have to email, request to cancel, wait and then be directed to Apple, because you bought it in the App Store. And because the purchase is processed through the App Store, Apple is not obligated to issue refunds… so that $90 is gone, no matter what Foodvisor advertises. There is no “free trial.” There is a paid subscription. Period. I paid the $83 app, and a $30 add on, and while the add-on refund denial makes sense, I only had it for about a week before requesting to cancel. Not an option. On top of that, every feature this app offers can be replicated for free with any FREE AI assistant. There is nothing here worth $90+, and certainly nothing worth the deceptive experience. Save your money.

It has only been a few weeks, but I have been plateaued no matter what I was doing. I’m happy to say I am down 15 lbs !
  • Buggy App

I really want to love the app and even purchased a yearly subscription but the app is so buggy it’s making me steer away from using it. I can’t even input the foods i’m eating without the app being stuck in the search. I really hope we can get this resolved cause it’s not really feeling worth the purchase. I love the UI and can’t wait to see it up and running again.
  • Refund/Customer Support

Trash. I contacted the same day I downloaded this app for a refund. The customer service is a bot and will repeat the same message over and over. I contacted apple, no resolution. The bot at Foodvisor support said to reach back out to the Foodvisor app if I need help with getting my refund. There is no was to speak to a human. I need a refund for this app!
  • Money back is NOT guaranteed

"Premium" was misleading. I expected full access once I paid the yearly fee, however, the meal and workout plan are sold separately. Refund is at Apple's discretion. After multiple attempts contacting Apple support, my claim was denied. Be cautious when downloading.
  • Activities do not work

The food tracker is very good. But you cannot add any activities, so caloric expenditure isn’t taken into consideration. This could lead to dangerous calorie restriction if you are a very active person. If this could be fixed, I would easily give this 5 stars!
  • Pretty good!

I’m liking the app so far! Earning gems for tracking and watching the seed grow is a little more rewarding than your basic tracking app. My only dislike is that, when entering a food item by barcode when creating a recipe, it doesn’t give the option of adding the whole package size in one quick click. If you don’t have the package in front of you, it’s a guess and the numbers could be off. It would be nice to have package sizes available as an option along with cup, teaspoon, & tablespoon for more options.

why do people like this app? it pulls up incorrect information on barcodes and photos. even when you try to correct the facts, the AI again pulls inaccurate information. it also feels like it is judging you. this app is negatively impacting my nervous system and spiking my cortisol. so far, I HATE IT.
