HomeSafe View: Live Swann CCTV viewing on your iPhone and iPad HomeSafe View supports the following features: Multi-channel viewing with up to 16 cameras on screen at the same time (16ch view works best on iPads) Play back stored recordings from your DVR on your handset or tablet (requires high upload speed internet) Change settings on your DVR or NVR in app Capture video from your camera live view to your iPhone to play back later Capture single and multi still images and save these to your iPhone's picture library Control PTZ (pan, tilt, zoom) cameras remotely Note: Current model handsets and iPads are recommended for high resolution playback and live viewing more than 8 cameras at once. Note: This app uses a data stream that will connect to your Swann DVR via 4G/5G or WiFi. When using 4G/5G, the video from your DVR will likely be considered "downloads" by your phone service provider and will contribute to any download limit your phone data plan may have. If you exceed any plan limits you may incur additional usage charges. Consult with your mobile service provider regarding the use of a video streaming app and how it may affect your plan.     I can no longer view cancers from the mobile app. It’s working fine from the system onto the small screen but I can no longer view anything on my iPhone app . Terrible !

    The majority of the time it loads shows the video and than says it loses connection after a couple seconds make it better

    Opened ports lowered resolution and still says offline when I try to view my cameras remotely. Might replace with a different set of cameras.

    Not an easy app to use and navigate. When using the app the playback is horrible and the controls are not user friendly. Even worse than the computer app which isn’t that easy to work. Its not worth the money or head ache and considering the headache I had with this system at my work, I went with something entirely different at home which works way better and is no where not as expensive. Swan, get it together. Ps. Anyone who says this an easy app or is the greatest is full of it or is working for Swann or knows someone who is.

  • No Rotation and Randomly Goes Offline

    When rotating from portrait to landscape orientation, the display doesn’t change (unless you go into the settings menu, and back out) first. Very frustrating… Also, the “connection” to the cameras randomly goes offline, then reconnects. Extremely frustrating…
