  • Good content, terrible app

The app is glitchy and often has problems. Usually logging out or deleting and reinstalling can fix it, but not always. Contacting help/support is disappointing. They cannot do anything and any they will get back to you I. 49 hours, while billing for service. Ugh.
  • Constant Crashing, constant harassment

If I chose one particular plan maybe it’s what I could afford. I don’t need to be reminded over and over to UPGRADE. It’s not helping that the damned app crashes right after and sometimes during an episode. I am dissatisfied.

Now you have to pay for premium if you want to binge watch. Canceling my subscription.

I already pay 132.00$ a year. Why are you asking for a 149.00$ at once??? Huh.! 🫪

Britbox recently added a premium option but instead of adding more to update they took away content subscribers used to receive and forced them to upgrade if they still wanted it.
  • The best of British TV - the worst user experience

Not only the app is still buggy but it Is now extractive - it is trying to force you to ‘upgrade’ for an annual premium subscription for content that was included before… yikes
  • Bad app, good service.

Britbox has good content but, unfortunately, there is no way to turn off autoplay the next episode. You have to manually cancel it every time. There is also no way to have multiple profiles. Everyone in the house has to use the same profile.
  • Playback

Please fix — or at least provide an option to disable — the repeated “Resume / Start from Beginning / Cancel” prompt after every episode when rewatching a series. In 2026, continuous playback during rewatches should be effortless. Nearly every major streaming app already allows viewers to restart a series and continue watching without being interrupted after each episode. BritBox’s current behavior makes rewatching shows unnecessarily frustrating. If viewers fall asleep during an episode, they can manually return to where they left off later. There’s no need to interrupt playback every single episode with another selection screen. Please add either: * A “Restart Series” option that continues automatically through all episodes, or * A setting to disable repeated playback prompts during rewatches. This would greatly improve the viewing experience and eliminate a very annoying nuisance. Lastly why are you charging a $149.99 for Premier🤯

Logging in worked twice— now I’m back to changing password, old password not recognized. Hopeless.

I was going crazy trying to create my new BritBox account through the Apple TV App and needed to do it through my iPhone app. The TV App had odd behaviors when I attempted to input a decent password and Create the Account, but the iPhone app worked just fine. There seems to be a fairly short password length limit so be sure to craft a good one with the length they provide.
