  • Aligner numbers and dats

    The aligner schedule should allow changing the date starting a particular tray. If i start tray 7 2 days late the schedule now says i only wear aligner for 10 days when it should be 12. I have to create a brand new schedule whenever im late changing a tray. Sometimes i leave trays in longer due to maybe leaving them out for a full day because of an event or something.

    During setup it popped up a window saying that it charged me $249.95 at the Apple store and provided a phone number to cancel. I called and the person who answered claimed they were Apple Security staff, but was an obvious scam and said that they had charged $12,345.67 for bitcoin. Either this app is a scam or someone has inserted malware into it. I deleted the app without trying it.

  • User experience ruined by ads

    The ads interrupt the basic functionality of the app. Listen, I understand the need to monetize on your work, but interrupting the foundational flow of your app seriously harms user experience and dissuades me from ever financially supporting you. Do better.

    I’m fine with ads on the app but the ads should not be predatory. I have gotten ads that intend to steal user information.

  • Used to be simple and good, now annoying and greedy

    Before it was a simple app to keep track of wear time. Paid the one time fee prior to use it, thought that was the end of it. Now? Paywalling several features that I already paid for, paywalling new features (such as live activities), and finally, a constant, incessant push to pay for their TrayMinder+ nonsense. A full banner ad is now at the bottom of the app, an app that I already paid for. I could not recommend it enough to consider other apps, there are alternatives that are not nearly as awful. Update (Feb. 2026): Developer responded saying they “reduced the frequency of ads”. Blatant lie, absolutely nothing changed, it still has intrusive ads right on the main screen. Look elsewhere for a tray tracking app. Update (Mar. 2026): I swear this app is being vibe-coded. Every week there’s new bugs: the watch app stopped syncing, the main app calendar automatically shows you the 1st day of the month instead of whatever the current date is. What is going on?

    First you need subscription to save more than 6 photos, now you need subscription to get rid of ads, it's annoying. Not to mention I even got ads for adult(nsfw) video chat/dating app??

  • Great app for an Invisalign wearer

    Love this app. I tried the trail version and now I cannot live without it. It’s my first time getting the Invisalign and I am 69 years old. This app helps keep me keeping track of how long I wear it and how long I have to eat while it’s off. I don’t think I can do without this app. It’s easy to use even for me. Thank you. I love it.

    I’m so grateful TrayMinder exists - I was much more confident managing my treatment knowing exactly how much time my trays were out. It was super easy to quickly tap to keep track, and the timed reminders came in handy quite a few times, too. My treatment only lasted a month (three trays) so I love that there was a monthly subscription option!
