This app is terrible. I’m not one to write reviews but I have to. I took a risk purchasing this app after I read the reviews. It didn’t have a free trial option so I just went for it. It has yet to identify a plant accurately. When I suspected it was identifying unknown plants wrong I decided to try it on plant in which I was clear what they were. It got those wrong too. Save your money!!!

There are not a lot of options if you need to skip a watering day. It defaults to 2 days or five days or a week. I’ve had this app for almost 2 years and I think I’m going to try another. It worked great when I had 20ish plants. Then not as helpful

I downloaded this app to try it out, and while I did enjoy using parts of it, I was really disappointed to see that the annual subscription I was offered for $35.99 was actually charged at $47.99. That does not feel right. When I reached out for help, the response seemed to be from AI and was not helpful. I also noticed that when I checked the subscriptions, there were multiple subscriptions listed under the same app/title but at different prices, which felt confusing and honestly concerning. As for the app itself, I found the AI plant diagnosis feature to be pretty inaccurate and not as helpful as I hoped. It also seems to remind me to water my plants too often, which can actually cause more harm than good. It’s a great app and I planned to renew for the year but with the price not being what was promised at sign up, it’s a NO for me. Just be mindful and double-check the pricing before subscribing and your bill. I wanted to love this app, but the billing issue and lack of helpful support really changed my experience.

I love this app. I’ve always struggled a bit to diagnose issues with my plants and give them optimal conditions to thrive. Within 2 months of using this app my plants are THRIVING ~ they all have many new leaves and look healthier than they ever have. My favorite thing about this app is the “diagnose my plant” feature. If one of my plants start to have issues I can ask for advice, and after describing the issue and providing pictures I get a diagnosis and actions to take (which always work). Absolutely cannot say enough good things about Planta.

Helps a ton on keeping track of all my plants. Love the different categories and sections you can set so it keeps things organized. The new AI update is really useful too. I’d like to see some form of a sprinkler setting get added that can automatically update the watering schedule instead of having to update it manually each time

I took pictures of the plants so that I could take care of them properly. The plant is a Kalanchoe. It identified it as a hydrangea. I took two pictures of the plant.
