    App Doesn’t Open
  • Offline maps (?)

I would consider replacing Apple Maps with this if it offers offline maps download. So for now it’s Organic Maps to the rescue from the apples & googles info stealing and bs.

The app is a great alternative and works great with apple carplay as well but there are some issues that should be looked at. When navigation starts whether I have cellular coverage or WiFi the animation stutters like really bad. The navigation shows speed cameras in places that are either a mile before or after the real position of the speed camera. Stays on after opening the app even if navigation is not being used forcing the user to force close the app. It’s a great start but it has a long way to go.

This app is improving a lot, but at the same time this is still long way to replace Google and Apple maps.
  • Good, but could be better.

This app is good at routing and navigation but don’t pay any attention to the speed limits it has for the roads you’re traveling. It’s inaccurate. Almost any other routing app will be precise with posted speeds, but this one fails over 50% of the time on the roads I drive.
  • Overall pretty good

03/31/2026 Overall still really good. When an exit is coming up off the highway it only shows how many miles to the exit and not the exit name or number. This makes it a little tricky. So it would be nice to see the name and number of the exit you’re taking. This is in CarPlay and in the upper left box. Also some turns it does show the road name so I think the data is available. 03/25/2026 Bumping to 5 stars as the beta is really pretty good now. One annoying thing is the turn in the upper left of CarPlay updates too often. Like every 100 feet. One thing I hope they add is the ability to save favorites and offline maps. Honestly I’m willing to pay if they add these premium features and keep making the application better. Overall works pretty well. Would be nice to have it show up in CarPlay overview screen that has multiple apps. Also would be nice to have offline maps. Also would be nice to be able to sign in to save locations.

I found the issue with the sound. It’s good on my end.
  • It’s not bad, but lacks a voice search

I can’t speak an address like I can in other navigation apps. Kind of annoying to have to stop with my car and park and then type in the address and search. I can’t even let my passenger search while I’m on the road because the application is blocked while connected to CarPlay. If you can fix this minor annoyance, I’d give it an extra star too. *the developer says I can access the app on CarPlay but I can’t. The screen literally says “CarPlay connected” * Have you tried opening the CarPlay main menu (where all apps are listed) and then accessing TomTom directly on your phone? “Yes, but you have to stop the app routing you to your destination. And it only sometimes works. Other times I have to disconnect from CarPlay, access the app, and use the menu quickly before CarPlay auto connects.”

I like the look of this app, but it lacks a route progression bar and has too many bugs to be really useful. If you go through an area where there is only one bar of cell service the app will constantly recalculate and give you the last directions that had been issued even though you are miles past the point where those directions were correct. When you approach an exit on an interstate highway it will tell you to keep left while showing an arrow for a left turn. It will inform you of an upcoming exit but the distance to the exit will be incorrect. It will also constantly recalculate while you’re on a long stretch of highway with no upcoming exits. It becomes nonstop recalculating without changing the route and putting out the same previous directions.
