Hume Health

I’m confident the developers will eventually work out the bugs and the inaccuracies; however, people are investing money in a device to gain insight and information to monitor and possibly improve their health. Therefore, Hume should not be marketing their claims or charging money for the app if they cannot provide an app that can accurately, as accurately as an advanced device and app can measure, reflect each users health data. I’m glad I decided to use the free version of the app before investing more money with Hume Health. I will gladly change my rating once there is improvement with the app.

I look forward to the day when the Hume Scale can differentiate breast tissue from fat. Every day I have high fat on my trunk and arms but I wear a bra size 34G and have been in that size for many many years, long before I had a weight issue, so it’s not fat. My weight on the scale seems to fluctuate a lot, even when I weigh myself back to back, and the scale has to account for that somehow. Over time, I am able to see the general trends, which I really appreciate. The health score at the top is discouraging and abstract, going lower and lower each day even as my fat lowers and muscle increases. The metabolic age is just a discouragement, since I’ve changed so much daily and it’s still saying I’m metabolically 8 years older than I actually am. If I didn’t have this scale though, I would have stopped trying to fix my body about a month ago because of the weight going up. Now that I know it is muscle, I will keep going and someday it’ll start changing. The Hume band is ridiculously expensive and I won’t be buying it or any kind of subscription so I wish they would stop suggesting it.

Totally addressing a health journey

I hate this scale. It rarely connects, no matter what I do, no matter how may times I try,or resources I get help from online. It just won’t. I’ve had the scale seven months. It has connected maybe three times. Garbage.

This only gives me a reading about 1/3 of the time. I think my skin is a little dry for it. But it is frustrating

I weigh myself every day at the same time. Somehow I gain and lose significant amounts of muscle from day to day. The body fat percentages don’t add up. My limbs and trunk are near one number where my whole body reading is much higher. I compared to a high end Inbody scale and it was quite different in most readings

Love the Hume Health Body pod - it has given me great insight into diffferent body metrics and provides an additional incentive to work harder in the gym and on my nutrition to show progress on the wide range of health metrics

This is great. I love tracking everything as I’m getting older. Knowing where my body is at on a daily basis is great. Seems pretty accurate. Great product!

The Dara1 scale is “outdated” bc the company wants to make more money selling you a new scale that you don’t need. Never mind I’ve had my scale for almost 4 yrs and NOW my Dara1 is not compatible? They blame it on Google Play but nice try, I have iOS. Don’t waste a dime on this company. They have terrible customer service and they just want you to buy their new products every few years bc they’ll create an update in their app that won’t work with older products.
