I’ve been using Fable for about a year now and really like it. However, notifications stopped working 1 week ago. I don’t get in app messages, likes, book club notifications, nothing. I cannot figure out what to do about it. It is the same on my iPad so it isn’t a device issue. Please help.
  • Great Alternative to Goodreads

This app is almost perfect but my only complaint is unfortunately the limited number of plans/options for fable plus. I am a person who prefers to have the least amount of subscriptions possible. I understand that the developers need to make money to continue support, but I wish it was possible to have options that are not subscriptions. Such as one time payments that unlock fable plus for a certain time frame.

I love reading any books and this helps me to keep track of what books I read.
  • What Goodreads Wishes It Could Be

I love the gamification of reading. The data! The reading horoscope! The ability to truly customize a review down to the granular decimal level! Fable continually improves and innovates, and I love every update it makes. This is the reading tracking app to end all apps!

As the title suggests, I love the app and its ui more than other similar apps but I am truly annoyed with the lack of arabic literature titles, even the classic ones like Naguib Mahfouz!!! I wish the app adds more titles especially in Arabic literature

I love this app and how active it is. The community is super engaged, and I love that I feel like I’m part of a larger reading community rather than the way Goodreads feels, which is definitely more isolating. The layout is intuitive and easy to navigate, and I really enjoy the graphics and color schemes, they make the app feel more modern and fun to use. The tracking system is also one of my favorite features because it makes it easy to keep up with my reading without feeling overwhelming.

This app was amazing a year ago. Sadly now politics has taken over. You can’t scroll your feed without reading hyper political content. Reading the app description you’d think you’d be in good company for rambunctious literary debates/reviews. Nope. You’ll have to read about topics from ICE and the existential threat of climate change. There are countless apps/groups that are appropriate for such discussions. This is not. NOT AS ADVERTISED.
