    These $200-500 speakers are ONLY “smart” at limiting what you can use them for. They back down if you try to turn them up past what I guess they consider an acceptable level?! I say that as a question because there are none of the signs/sounds of overload AND there is a volume limit on the app so if I want to limit the Max Volume either to protect MY hearing or MY speakers I can. The app has ALWAYS sucked and the irritatingly constant updates do nothing to help. With each one the list of restrictions, things you can’t or have to pay to do, and MAJOR streaming apps you CANT use (YouTube, Bandcamp) continues to grow. Sonos sucks.

    How can a company that create such great speakers with amazing sound can come with the most bug full app in the universe? The integration with soundcloud is so bad, you see a list press a track and it plays five tracks before. Like this is something AI coding can solve in seconds, yet they refuse to fix all the bugs. Or can't.

  • Horribly inconsistent

    The app will work great on some days and on others it won’t work at all. With no changes to the settings or hardware. I will select for it to play everywhere and a few minutes into the first song it stops play, drops everything on queue and defaults to one speaker.

  • Glitchy but the best option for me

    I have used Sonos for about 10 years now. Sonos Connect with a traditional amp and speakers, Sonoma Connect + Amp with traditional speakers, two Sonos Ones and a Sonos Roam in 5 different rooms. Sonos is glitchy but still the best option for running the same music throughout the house and garage. The Connect + Amp has the best sound of any of the 5 amps I have used with Klipsch speakers over the years. Sonos is improving their platform but it still needs work. But it is still the best option for my needs.

    I like the Sonos system but cannot play anything through anything but the sound bar (with my TV). No issues if I play music only. I feel like I wasted my money on the additional speakers.

    We are enjoying Sonos a number of years and we are extremely delighted with the choices available and sound quality and multitude of music sources available. Including international choices. What a great experience ❤️🌺👏

  • Getting worse with every update

    SONOS used to be practically perfect in every way, but somehow they’ve made it harder and harder to use with every update to the point were I can’t even figure out how to properly control the volume from the app! It’s getting to the point that I would dis-invest my 1000’s of dollars if I knew of a better alternatives.

  • Locks up

    When adjusting volume, the screen locks up and will not scroll thereby preventing access to all the zones. Very frustrating! iPhone 12 current iOS.

    I have an older Sonos system and they have reduced the functionality of the IOS controls that I only use my system on a limited basis. Wish I had never purchased it.
