I have to pay 20 dollars a month to watch the cubs which I would consider if the app actually worked. Instead it is constant buffering to the point where it doesn’t even play. Horrible.

App never lets you log in with your existing cable company. Just spins. It’s their way of forcing you to subscribe to their service. I’m already paying for Marquee thru my provider. Give me the ability to watch or just go away. The Cubs are top 3 in league revenue. Could you get a better app designer? I know some high school students that can create a better app. So let me log in and stop blocking. The Cubs should be embarrassed to have such a terrible app.

By far the worst streaming sports app ever to exist. The games are only watchable on your phone or laptop. The moment you try to cast it to chromecast, Apple TV, or any other platform, the app buffers nonstop. This has always been an issue since the existence of the app and it’s yet to get addressed. Not trying to watch the game on my phone all the times, sometimes want to cast it to the tv. Be better.

how does anyone justify paying $20/month for this? it is basically stealing. this app is horrible. streaming to chromecast barely works. when it does, it buffers insanely long time. oh, just watch it another way you say? well it’s not available on basically any platforms except amazon, maybe apple TV? also, why would i ever want to do anything other than watch the game that is on when its ongoing? why is that not option #1 when you login. just insanely negligent. i’d be embarrassed to release this app.

I finally gave in and spent the $20 a month to watch the Chicago Cubs. This app is unreliable on both phone and TV. Quite often the error message displays “the video is currently unavailable”. Not only do the Cubs make it hard for fans to watch, but they also built this terrible app. It is 2026 and I am considering going back to DirecTV so that I can actually watch the Cubs.

Paid for the app the last couple of years and it only seems to get worse. Highly disappointed. Bring back WGN.

The app isn’t available for many platforms, which is very inconvenient. To make it worse…. Casting from the app is atrocious. This immediately gives you 1 Star

If I could give a zero, I would. Simply casting to the TV via Google Chromecast or Apple TV is comically bad. Glitches out, takes forever to load. The sole purpose of this app is to watch Cubs games and it doesn’t adequately fulfill that goal. I’m a software engineer and I’d be embarrassed to have published this product.
