I am so overdue for writing a review for this workout- I’ve been doing Evlo for a little over a year now and it has truly changed my life in EVERY way!!
I am like so many others- I’m 29 years old and have been caught up in the hamster wheel of the fitness industry since I was 16!! I’ve done everything… yoga, barre, hot yoga, cycling, running, home workouts, dance cardio, Pilates, lagree, back to Pilates, back to hot yoga, back to lagree, a mix of different types of workouts in one week, all in the desperate attempt to find a workout routine that just made SENSE!! Something that made me feel good and look good. That’s all we want right?! I actually nearly got certified to teach Pilates and ended up backing off because there was something about it that still just felt missing.
Evlo first caught my eye on TikTok. It was a video about “why we don’t stretch” and it was the first thing in a long time that made SENSE to me. It was totally counter cultural (everyone believes in stretching right??) and yet it made sense!!!! I clicked on their page, started listening to the podcast right away, and I just was blown away by again- how much every single thing Dr. Shannon said made SENSE!! I felt like I had spent 13 years searching for the truth and here it was. For every fitness question I had, Dr. Shannon had science based, evidence backed research to share. Answers!! Finally!! I had previously been paying $300 a month for Lagree (because that’s how badly I wanted to get in shape!!) so switching over to a $55ish home workout that had way more scientific backing than Lagree did was a no brainer. It’s 10000% worth the money!!!! Literally without question. I’d pay even more for it!!
I started the workout in May 2025 and just absolutely fell in love. Starting & ending every workout with mobility has been a game changer. Lifting weights feels so good, learning how to get to failure, learning MY BODY, becoming my own personal trainer, slowly but surely raising my weights is so EMPOWERING. Shannon, Payton, and Jill always apologize for “being a broken record” but that broken record has workout by workout completely changed my brain’s neural pathways that had been totally brainwashed with nonsense by the fitness industry!! I finally no longer believe that you have to exhaust yourself every day to get in shape. I leave a 35 min workout without dripping a drop of sweat, completely confident that I have done all I need to do that day to achieve my fitness goals. And I am in the best shape of my life!! I can’t believe I’m even writing this!! And I’m only getting stronger!!
My husband is now an Evlo fan as well! This is not just a workout for the girls!!! He has suffered so many injuries from being in the gym, as well as so much annoyance and confusion with gym culture. His world was also flipped upside down (or rather, finally right side up!!) when I got him on Evlo. His injuries have healed, he no longer wrecks his body with deadlifts, and having a clear, consistent workout structure. I told him 2 things the other day A) I can’t believe I’ll never set foot into a heated workout again!! I finally understand that sweat does not equal results!! And B) I can’t believe I found the workout that I will undoubtedly be doing when I’m 70!!!!
Because I firmly believe that Evlo fits all stages of life. About 8 months into my journey with Evlo, I got pregnant! I’m now 6.5 months into my first pregnancy diligently following the prenatal program, and I feel incredible. I’ve continued to be able to slowly slowly raise my weights, which means I’m the strongest I’ve ever been— pregnant!! One of the best things about Evlo is the Gentle Consistency, and adopting that mindset has served me so well pre pregnancy and now during pregnancy! On the days that I feel low energy, I just modify as I feel will serve my body! It doesn’t bother me a bit if I decide to skip a workout due to sickness or whatever, because I finally understand that missing one workout (or even a few!) isn’t going to break my fitness. Interestingly enough, I actually really don’t skip that many workouts… it’s just such an enjoyable and easy to maintain routine that I don’t like to skip a workout because I just love it!!
The reset weeks have also been a life changer!!!!! I’ve taken a reset week every 12 weeks and it’s always just what I need. Oh my gosh I can just keep raving forever!!!!
This was wayyyy too long of a review haha but I wanted to write this so that others will know how incredible this program is… to not even think but just DO IT!! I believe this should be every person’s workout routine!! Haha and I also wanted to write this review to THANK the Evlo team for creating Evlo. For being consistently dedicated to the truth of exercise and our bodies, for never wavering with the fitness industry, for never changing their tune just to get more views or follows. You have truly changed my life, my relationship with food and my body, for the BEST in every single way!! I’m having a daughter, and I’m so thankful that I’m going to be able to raise her to have a healthy relationship with exercise, because I finally have a healthy relationship with exercise!!!! All thanks to you guys.

THANK YOU Evlo team!! I discovered Shannon’s podcast first and then signed up for Evlo. I was a little tentative given the price but I couldn’t be happier. I feel so much more informed about my body and strength training. I love the gentle consistency motto and the freedom to select the exercises that work for my specific body proportions. I feel and look so much stronger but that’s mainly just a bonus at this point! My pain is down, my mental health is better and I’m not even spending that much time at the gym all things considered.

Evlo has been pretty monumental for me. I started Evlo in the latter part of my first pregnancy and it helped me to feel so much better and stronger. Definitely helped with birth and recovery, particularly learning more about exercise and pelvic floor. It also didn’t hurt that I was getting constant compliments on how ripped my arms looked hahaha. Now I do it 3 days a week while my baby is napping and still love it so much.

Evlo has completely changed my approach to fitness. I have never had a program like this where I look forward to my workouts every day. I love the gentle consistency and overall approach. This program is different than anything else I’ve ever done and I have seen incredible results. It’s so amazing to not feel gassed after my workouts, but to feel strong and energized.

If you want to change the way you do fitness and feel amazing then this is the platform for you. This method allows you to build yourself up without wearing and tearing your body down. Coming from a high intensity training program before, I was skeptical of what would happen when I didn’t exhaust myself every single day. The skepticism faded when I started seeing better results, sleeping better and getting no injuries. It’s the best thing I’ve ever done for my fitness and mental health. The instructors are so well informed and knowledgeable and they build out a schedule that is so easy to follow while offering challenges and strength building exercises that are packed with results. I for the longest time believed that to see results I needed to work out 60 minutes a day and end up in a puddle of sweat and be so sore the next day to have an effective workout. Turns out that you can workout less and see better results than you ever seen. My recommendation is to give it 2-3 months so you can really start to reap the benefits. I promise you’ll be so happy you did.

I have been doing EVLO for 5 months and absolutely love it! I started with the 5 day track and recently switched to the 3 day track, due to my work/life schedule. I can see/feel the muscle growth and I feel so much stronger. I have been working out regularly for 20 years and this is the first workout routine that I genuinely love and don’t dread doing! I also walk daily (or bike) and love that the app that allows me to track my minutes to keep me on target. Can’t say enough good things!
