I switched from Crouton to pesto because pesto has improved, smarter import recipe features. Like Crouton, it has a beautiful user interface whether using iPhone or iPad. That one can share recipes with a household is another key selling point. I initially did not understand how to do that and I reached out to the app’s developer, who was very responsive. I appreciate that greatly.

I am absolutely in love with this app. I love the fact I can embed existing recipes into new ones. While it’s taking me forever to migrate to this app from OneNote (mainly because I didn’t like previous options in iOS) a web version would be fantastic!!!!! There is nothing I cannot complain about with this app.

Looks like if iOS (Apple) made a cooking app. My two favorite things about the app are its interface (the way it looks) and the simplicity of it. Please get this app. Its fye.

I’ve been using pestle for several years now and it has made my life so much easier. Meal planning and food shopping takes a fraction of the time, and I love how easy it is to add recipes from a url. GREAT PRODUCT!

I’ve tried many recipe apps over the years and Pestle is the best one that I have ever used. It just keeps getting better.

I came over from another app that I had used forever because of the ability to import recipes from Instagram and share recipes with my family. It was a pretty seemless transition. There are some features I miss (tagging, the ability to mark a recipes as made, etc), but Pestle is a well made app and I use it daily.

My wife and I started using this for saving and sharing recipes we want to try, and now we are using it daily. We went with the permanent license, since I can see us still using this in 25 years. The dev is very responsive, obviously cares about the app and users.

Cooking is a big hobby of mine and I’ve tried SO MANY different apps to store my recipes - this one is by far the best. Thank you!! Please keep going!

I’ve had this app (lifetime subscription) for probably 4 years now. I now have 900+ recipes on it and multiple folders (ex: holiday dinner ideas, kid friendly meals, and meals for dietary restrictions, in case I bring dinner to someone who has an allergy.) Meal planning on it is easier, and I love how it has family sharing so my husband can see the grocery list and participate in meal planning as well. We’re always on the same page, and the user interface makes it such a pleasant experience. Any time I’ve ever submitted an error report (only twice) it’s come back addressed promptly. Everyone in my life that really knows me, knows I use this app.
