    Rest has helped me achieve sound sleep after a lifetime of sleeping poorly. It has changed my life. It feels amazing to fall asleep quickly and then wake up and realize you slept all night. No tossing or turning. No waking up at night. The difference in how I feel during the day, now that I'm able to sleep throughout the night is significant. I'm clear headed and energetic. I'm not tired at the end of the work day. While it feels amazing to get one night of good sleep, sleeping well consistently every night is something I've never experienced before following the Rest program. I feel so different. Lighter. More capable. Life feels easier. I've gained a solid two hours a day to my life. I used to go to bed early and stay in bed longer because I was so tired. Currently I'm in bed for 7.25 hours a night-I'm still working the program to find a final sleep time. Can you imagine having two extra hours a day to do what ever you want? That coupled with how much better I feel. You can see why I say it's been truly life changing. This program is like nothing else I have tried before to improve my sleep. I could not have accomplished the change in my sleep habits without the daily support of the Rest app. The Rest program is not an instant solution to good sleep.     I’m surprised and delighted by how much this program is helping me sleep better. The app is quite buggy, about a third of the time requires restart to load. Sometimes the voice AI is not audible. The wind down checklist must be done in one go, it doesn’t save if you do part of it then return.

    This is my first experience with any kind of AI program so I was a bit trepidatious. I had tried CBTI with a intermittent Zoom therapist, but this program is different in that the contact is so regular and nearby – your phone! I’m hopeful that if anything is going to make some long-term changes in my sleep, it’s likely to be this kind of a program.

    I bought the app with the hopes it would help with my sleep. The AI gave very similar messages on a daily bases. I had to manually enter my log in for the sleep, although I have an Apple Watch and an oura ring. The worst future was that it locks my screen until I entered the sleep log information. I also tried to contact their customer service twice and have not heard back.

    Really just a sleep log and hollow AI powered sleep hygiene tips. Didn’t find it useful at all.

    I’ve had trouble sleeping for the past 7 months. I was hopeful that Rest would help and followed the program to the letter for about 80 days. I logged all sleeping, read all the articles and had “coaching” sessions with an AI chatbot, which usually ended with an “You’ve got this.” The program insisted that my assigned wake up time was non-negotiable. Generally, I wake at 8-8:30 and my assigned time was later. I cannot change when I wake up. We reached an impasse and I gave up on the program. The chatbot needs more supervision and review. Its recommendations get very predictable and are not useful the 10th time you’ve read them. I was disappointed with the program.

    After YEARS of trying every supplement and feeling desperate I heard about cbt-i and got this app. It works. Sleeping through the night. It requires consistency. The first few weeks are hard and you can expect to be tired and then…sleep improves. Slowly but steadily I’m getting better and better sleep. Worth every penny. I’m going to tell my doctor who has given me countless sleeping pill prescriptions (all temporary band aids) to start recommending this to his patients instead.

    The app is okay. It works for what it is. The AI is pretty wonky and doesn’t learn a whole lot, but it remembers what you say and can parrot it back. But it’s clear that it doesn’t really understand what you’re saying. As for the sleep logging, that works fine. But I could have done that in my notes or on a sheet of paper for that matter. My biggest issue is that CBTi didn’t work for me ( there’s also around a 40% dropout rate, so I’m not alone). As a rule follower, this was hard pill to swallow. Just follow the rules and illl be fine. Not this time. I followed for 26 days, and my sleep got so much worse I thought I was going to be really ill. A few days ago I started bending the rules and looking for alternatives. They are out there! If CBTi is not for you, keep looking. You deserve to sleep and feel whole again. I’m not there yet, but I’ve had a few good nights, and that does wonders for my attitude.
