Will not let me cancel!

So saw an advertisement for a book, read the first 3 chapters and loved it. At the top of the advertisement said “ALL CHAPTERS FREE” but to my surprise I can’t get past chapter 8 before they want me to top up. You are doing a disservice to your authors by lying to potential customers. They have great books but because the c-suite execs decide to deceive people they will NOT be getting my money.

There are different levels of stores on this app. I watched a ad with a brief excerpt of a story, and it looked interesting. So I downloaded the app, read the free chapters and the purchased coins to continue the story. The story I was reading apparently is a short story and you have to buy a subscription to read it. I reached out to ask for a refund, and they declined my request. So be careful if you’re coming in from an ad. I guess look ahead at how many chapters before you begin reading, because if it’s considered a short story your coins will do you no good.

Ad plainly says FREE reads. Only if you watch tons of ads or you can purchase books. That’s not free. These apps should be flagged as Scam.

Stated “ALL CHAPTERS ARE FREE” but of course it was a lie. Then they breadcrumb coins while making you watch a ton of stupid ads for them. I had the app literally less than an hour and I’m deleting it.

After watching what seemed like 100 ads, I finally downloaded the app because the ad promised ALL chapters of My Alpha Wants Two Lunas were free. Not so! Only the first 7 chapters were free and most of those I read in the ad. Don’t be sucked in by their lies!

I wish I could give more than one star, because the stories are decent. Unfortunately I can not, due to how they have treated me as a customer. I subscribed when I was a guest thinking it would transfer to my account if I logged in, it did not, which was interesting because it transferred the book I was reading no problem. I thought maybe I’ll wait a month and see. So I did, they actually pulled the money 4 days earlier than it was supposed to. Again I thought well ok maybe that was the day I signed up. But I again still didn’t see any extra’s that the subscription had said I would get. So I waited almost another month. I then contacted customer service because at this point they’ve gotten $40 out of me and I got nothing from the subscription. I went back and forth for almost TWO WEEKS! I first got the AI then I was connected to a representative whom I think at this point was several people because they would tell me the same things over and over and over again without fail. I would follow the directions given and send photo evidence of followed directions but would get no response then suddenly get a response with the same directions. At the end I told them this is what I have done all that you’ve asked several times over I still do not see anything about a subscription anywhere. No more being told I can’t find it in the system, so I’m going to block it on my end, I deleted my account, and the guest account and have blocked from my card. That is the only way that has worked so far. PLEASE BE AWARE THEY DONT WANT TO HELP YOU!! They are SCAMMERS!

Claims book/ story is free but will not let you continue unless you make purchase.

When I see an ad for a book that I think I want to read and I click continue reading. It opens this app, but the book is nowhere to be found.
