  • Beautiful but too easy

    This is a beautiful game. It’s fun but really, it’s too easy. I would love to think I’m some mahjong talent, but I’m not that experienced and yet I’m able to finish the hard puzzles with medium effort. I would honestly say their “hard” level is more of a medium or maybe even easy level so there should be two more harder levels. If they would add a “very hard” difficulty level to this, then I would give it 5 stars.

    Started with 400 or 500 puzzles and now have 800 puzzles. I suspect they’ll keep adding more puzzles to keep one playing. Which isn’t great if you are the type to feel compelled to finish each puzzle. Also, themes so far lean heavily towards Stranger Things. Not a watcher of that genre so I choose the other “traditional-ish” themes or the beach one. Updated after app update of April 30….Netflix now requires a gamer name/ID. It will not let me simply play without logging in. I did not have to do this before and STRONGLY OBJECT to being required to create a Netflix game username. I have no intention of ‘sharing’ game progress or stats. I will stop playing rather than be forced into this. DO NOT UPDATE to this version if this is important to you.

    Ther is no sound in the app at all- the sound was the most satisfying reason to play so I’m gonna delete- maybe redownload if it get fixed. Pointless and not enjoyable without sound. And yeah I tried all the typical tricks still- no sound!!! Helpppp

    Like another reviewer, I’m getting the un-requested “hint” and cannot dismiss it. It appears after momentarily, 30 seconds? Putting the phone down.

    After a relatively short period of time, a window pops up asking if you want a hint, and there is no way I have found to dismiss it other than getting a hint, (which I do not want), or quitting and restarting the game, which gets old real fast. A contact link was sent, but it does not get you any kind of support. Otherwise, a good game.

    I have played many versions of Mahjong tile games, but this one by Netflix is so calming, beautiful, and addictive that it’s my MUST PLAY, “Go to” relaxation fixation every day in every spare minute! Once you get the basic “how to’s”fixed in your brain it’s compelling, a joy to play, a brain-stimulator, and my favorite addiction😊❤️✨

    On Nov22 l reached level 500 on Netflix Mahjong. Took a screen shot. On Nov 23 l did a routine reboot of the iPad. And found my game was back to level 1. Took a screen shot. Started again. After next reboot l was back to level 1 again. Tried to reach help and no luck. Just now uninstalled and then reinstalled in hope of updating. Wonder what will happen next.
