  • Allows BG level to be shown constantly on Apple Watch!

    I guess you can use this app to monitor a loved one's BG but for me, the best thing about it is that it allows your BG rating to be constantly displayed on your Apple Watch! It works with Abbott's Freestyle Libre sensors (and others). You also have to install and setup the LibreLinkUp app first. Until the Freestyle Libre apps get Apple Watch complications this is currently the only way to get your BG displayed on your watch, and it works great! I've been dreaming of having my BG displayed on a wristwatch for like 30 years now! And I actually find it unlikely that Abbott will ever release an Apple Watch complication, it's too difficult to setup and even more so there's too much liability. The reading on the watch can easily get out of sync with the phone app's reading. So until their sensors can transmit to an Apple Watch directly with Bluetooth, I don't see it happening. Which makes this app even more vital!

    I couldn't be more grateful to the developers of this app. I can check my daughter's blood sugar simply by glancing at my phone or watch and on the Apple CarPlay in my car. It updates much quicker and stays updated better than the G7 app itself. Love it and thank you!

    I love Sweet Dreams Sugar Tracker! I use it to follow my T1D daughter’s blood sugar levels. I love the features such as the lock screen widget and especially the car play widget so I can see her BS while driving. I also just love the aesthetic and interface.

    Even after turning off notifications in the iPhone app and removing from my MacBook, I still get notifications on my MacBook. Snooze doesn’t work either. ZERO links to customer support. This is essentially malware.

    Seems as thought this husband & wife developer team picks up where it seems all the big high-tech diabetic companies have dropped off The total integration with my phone and being able to see my blood sugar in so many various places besides just having to open an app or take a pump out of my pocket is a game changer. Works great and updates fast. Thank you!

  • Decent, but needs some tweaks

    Overall, this is a decent app with a lot of good features like the follower communication options and live track. However, it needs some improvements before I’ll subscribe in the long run. First, the Dynamic Island data disappears if you swipe away and takes a while to come back. Second, the live activity data loses connection and says “no new readings” until you toggle it off and back on. Lastly, I want settings to only see the Dynamic Island and live activity data if I’m high/low beyond thresholds set for that specific feature. Meaning, I’d like to see the live activity if I’m below 100 so that I’m aware, but I obviously don’t need an alert to blare at that level. Having DI and LA live all the time just contributes to alert/data fatigue.
