    I love Audible. I listen to it daily but for some reason it has frozen and none of the suggestions online have helped. I want it back!

    New player does not respond to commands, apparently offers fewer choices in terms of control. It’s as if no one put this new version through its paces before release. Disappointing and frustrating.

  • Terrible customer service

    I have apparently had a subscription with Audible since 2024 and was not receiving my credits. Thought I needed to renew and start a new subscription and when I did, I still didn’t get any of my credits. When I asked for help. Go somewhere else to be able to obtain my credits. Claiming that they could not see my credits it is a terrible system. I asked them to make me whole and they were unable to now I have all these books that I will leave there, but I’m not going to buy anymore on this app because I am unable to get what I asked for and what they claim to as their subscriptions.

    I highly recommend this book for believers and skeptics alike. It is nicely broken up by diary entries and reflections on the accompanying theology. We all know good and evil exists. I believe that there are spiritual aspects to good and evil. This is a great insight to spiritual evil and the easy steps to avoid it. It also allows for personal introspective along the way.

    The Clips & Notes is just missing from the menu now. The app says it’s saving clips still, but you cannot see them anywhere or play them. Chat support is also not working. Clicking just gives you a brief loading/spinning icon and then nothing.

    This app has been terrible for years. Then a few years ago, an update made it worse—basically, it takes multiple clicks through ‘recommendations’ (ads) just to get to a clean list of books you’ve paid for that are on your device. As of most recent update—app doesn’t work at all. It freezes either before or after you press play, so either you can’t play the books you’ve bought or once you’re playing one, you can’t control it. I’m on a brand new iPad, so this is not an equipment problem. For shame, Amazon! Update: so I was instructed to go to the virtually unfindable live help (the link on the App Store page is actually broken!). They told me to do everything I had already tried—sign our, restart, clear library, etc etc. Surprise—it didn’t work, 15 minutes of my life gone. Amazon, all the app needs to do is to play files. Strip out all the advertising (THAT still works) and I’m sure even your devs can make an app for that.

    Since the update this week, my app continually crashes. The response I received was to uninstall and redownload my book. That didn’t work. The next option was to contact support for additional help within the app. When I click on chat under contact us the app crashes and closes. PLEASE FIX THIS!!!

    The audible app is not working on my iPad. I tried pressing the support link. It says it’s no longer available and to click the link to go directly to their page and that link does not work either. I am unable to select books or play any books on my iPad since the update. I will erase this as soon as I receive a response. I do love the app, just trying to get some help since the proper channels are not working.
