  • App sucks

Why does my MyChart app restrict my access when using a VPN that I paid for to protect my info from hacking? You insist we use multi layers of double secret passwords and special codes to protect our privacy, yet a VPN must be disconnected to access your app? I tried to call a customer service advocate to order a refill for my symbicort (generic) inhaler to be sent to a local pharmacy, because OptumRx doesn’t accept my Rx insurance coverage for the usual 90 supply. I have been out of this medication for weeks. My wife loaned me one of her inhalers, at a lower dose, until I can have mine sent. The advocate promised that he was sending a message to my doctor’s care team, and they would call me by the next day. No phone call came. Tonight, Thursday April 30, 2026 I received an email to open the MyChart app to read a message, which I thought would be regarding my inhaler being sent. I disconnected the VPN, to access the app to read this message. Thanks for the Birthday wishes, but I really need my inhaler to help me breathe.

No sort features for lab results?!? It’s super annoying to have to scroll through the whole list to find the newest results. Also the verification for this app is so unreliable.

This nurse practitioner at Benson Cancer Center-Benign Hematology was amazing. What a pleasant experience for a healthcare provider to take the time to inquire about your well being & explain things in detail. The staff at this center are so courteous & pleasant. I didn’t feel rushed.the other wonderful nurse practitioner there is Kelly Touaret. If only some doctors could be more like this. These ladies go above and beyond. Thank you to Benign Hematology & the staff including the check in ladies. Sometimes patients just need som guidance & options to be able to have better understanding. Keep up the good work! Michael Gibbs

I used to be able to easily see the date and contact of my last messages, but it is now elusive.
