  • No more custom maps

My complaint isn’t about the product (though features could be improved). Just a month ago I could import up to three custom maps. Tried today and that free feature is gone. I’ll be deleting the app. If the company would like a suggestion on how to improve their product, allow for editing of polygon/polyline vertices.
  • Huge changes to access overnight. Too big of changes. Meet consumers in the middle!

I’ve loved this app for years. Use it on prescribed burns, during wildfire suppression, out in the field. Making it so free users can’t even import one custom map or drop a single point on basemaps will make this app useless for me. Really sad for this outcome and while I can understand a change was needed, I wish you could find a better middle ground for users.
  • Dang it! My 1 map import is now useless.

Sure wish I had read the reviews before loading latest version. Was there a note about change in version history? Either way this stinky move makes me way unlikely to be forced to upgrade.
  • Pretty useless as a self-guided walking map

This app might work for some doing fishing hunting where you create your own maps/trails. However, planning a day trip to Rottnest Island (Australia, Perth area) the RottnestIsland.com website suggested this app and to download the “Wadjemup” trails. Ok, 4.99$ later (the app is free but you pay for maps) I realized I just wasted 4.99&… since it provided me with a static map. Kinda’ like a pdf map of downtown. Not even the whole island. Come on! Apple Maps in offline mode provides more info! Sorry, I tried. Now deleted.
  • Was great until the paywall

I used this app for years and now I’m the middle of a work project when I need it, you lock everything behind a pay wall. I don’t need a year long subscription for an app that I use maybe once a quarter.
  • Absolutely not

You can do more with other services for a lot less money than they currently want. They went from having free limited access to locking down all the maps I previously uploaded as inactive. I was forced to pay what I thought was an annual free while lost in the field just to see my own maps and some of my data had been lost (points I created) only to receive an alert that I only paid for a month. Find another service. This was only okay when it was free. Certainly not good enough for the price they want.
  • Never-ending charges to access your own user-made maps

They used to let you purchase maps from the store or make your own (with limited features). Now that users have made their own maps they have placed them all behind a subscription based paywall.
  • Scam

Decides to stop letting you upload maps even when deleting old ones to scam money off customers
  • Was good, got greedy.

Changing to a paid subscription was greedy enough but locking people out of the maps they already uploaded is dirty when they could have used ads like other apps. Will find another service who doesn’t treat long time users like trash to make an extra buck.
  • Off-line mapping pro premium plus, now with more payment options.

I’ve had this app for at least five years now, as a reliable off-line map for the local area or downloading a portion for hikes and adventures. I loved that it was no nonsense, three free offline maps which was enough for me. Now the maps that I would help fellow hikers or bikers with have been blocked by yet another paywall. If the maps I rely on can be screwed over by changing the payment method I have no reason to trust the app. Please revert the offline system or expect to drift away like a fart on the wind.
