  • App is flawed

The app eats battery like nothing else. Uses twice as much battery compared to browser usage. Not sure if it’s from background refreshing or the excessive video ads.

The articles I’ve read and continue to read are all thoughtful never descending into propaganda. Clearly well researched

In the age of opinion overload and nonstop propaganda, The Atlantic has become my most trusted source of information. Well-written, timely, and accurate, I trust The Atlantic to hold to uncompromising views and values that both warn against the extremism of the Trump era and call us back to the best of what makes us human.
  • Terrible App, Great Magazine

Love the magazine so chose a digital subscription and am profoundly disappointed. Almost impossible to navigate.
  • Update messed up fonts!!!

I recently opened my Atlantic app to find that all the text went from regular to bold. I think this corresponds with a recent app update. iPhone 17, most recent system. Really destroys the reading experience.

I have just one App on my phone for news and it’s this one. The Atlantic proves itself worthy of its subscription price by consistently engaging in fair-minded and well-researched journalism that does not shy away from threats and actions taken against it to chill its efficacy.
  • App is fine, AI voice for reading is horrible

Not sure why it’s so bad. They either need to upgrade the tech or, better yet, hire actual human readers.
  • Exceptional Journalism

I consider the Atlantic an indispensable source of good information and quality writing.
  • Great journalism, piss poor app

Journalists are not programmers. We know that. But, this app is just a failure. When every scroll takes several long sentences and the search function can’t find a phrase you have no choice but to read the article in your web browser or chop down some trees for the printed release.
