  • I just removed this app

This app abruptly changed by removing its realtime radar function and providing a recent snapshot of weather. There is no longer movement and 40-minute view of the trend. All that functionality must now be purchased. No thanks. Was a good app but I guess the ads weren't paying well enough. I'm done with it.

You cannot even see future weather now for free. You have to be subscription. How awful
  • Paid for but still seeing ads!

If you buy this app you still will be hit with ads wanting you to upgrade every time you open the app. Very annoying. Will stick with WeatherBug! Update, now you can”t even put the radar in motion without paying, one of the most basic functions of a weather app, which up until now I was able to do, again I paid for this app years ago and now I guess you have to pay for each layer of the radar you want to see that was originally included. Ridiculous!
  • I paid for this ripoff

I bought this app a few years ago when it first came out, but now I can’t use it. I mostly used it for tornado warnings/watches. So much for helping folks stay safe from severe weather.

I’ve had this app for at least 10 years, and paid for the premium version, back then. Now, every time you open, you’re blasted with ads. Radar animation no longer works.
  • Greedy app

I used to love this app. They got greedy, and the features that were free before now cost money. The app is unreasonably priced. I live in a state where we regularly have severe weather. I can’t even play the radar to see the past pattern- that now costs money, so now I have to toggle it, which doesn’t toggle easily. I haven’t found a better radar app and I refuse to pay $50/year. That’s absurd. They could just have ads or anything to generate money. If this was $0.99 per month, I would get it, but it’s absolutely ridiculous how much they want for it. People that live in tornado alley should be able to rely on a radar without paying an arm and a leg. Change the app back and I’ll change my review.
  • No longer works on iPad

Crashes at launch on iPad, and simply doesn’t open anymore. iPhone no longer remembers your radar zoom preference, and now the map also likes to wander or zoom out at the slightest motion. Very expensive pricing for a one trick pony — who the heck needs another subscription? Besides, this company did a bait-and-switch to all this app’s original purchasers, so I wouldn’t be surprised if they did it again, and leave subscribers holding the bag.
  • I was happy with this the first five years but now it’s full of ads.

This app started out to be really well done but with each update the performance quality dropped. Today this app is infested with ads trying to get money for a services I already paid for. Keep searching, there’s probably a weather app that works better.

Since the latest updated radar runs 20 minutes behind. Not helpful when needing info about approaching storms. I reached out to the developers and they suggest for me to restart my phone. Which does nothing. This app is broken.

Used to be the best simple radar app. They took that pushing for subscriptions. Nope. It’s just radar. Moving on.
