    I have done over 1000 workouts on Strong and now watch and phone will not work together. All software is updated. Rebooted both multiple times. It has been a couple weeks and I’m about to go find a new app.

    Update: uninstalled and went with Hevy. Shame because I bought a lifetime subscription so I’m throwing money out the window but this is such a critical feature. Over a year and they never built Dynamic Island and lock screen access. This is a huge miss. ———- The app is generally quite good. The problem is it doesn’t have Live Activity (it doesn’t show up on the Lock Screen or up at the top of the screen in the background during your workout). That means if you’re doing something else with your phone there’s no easy way to get back to your workout. You need to find the app manually again which is a big hassle if you read or whatever between sets. I contacted the developer back in May and they said they were working on it, but haven’t heard anything since then. I’m downgrading to three stars until then.

    I’ve used this app for quite a while and I’m just done with it. The syncing issues with the Apple Watch are very frustrating. Often times I find the live sync will not pop up in the main app. Or things will not sync between the main app and my Apple Watch. It’s lost lost data numerous times. And after probably 10 years, I’m switching to another app.

    This is one of those apps that I genuinely regret spending money on and waiting for them to improve or add features from their roadmap, that still haven’t appeared years later. I just launched the Apple Watch app, now I have to sign in on the Apple Watch app as if it’s some completely disconnected thing from my phone, I use a password manager and my password is about 16 digits long, common letters, capital letters, numbers, and special characters, that I have to type manually on the tiny Apple Watch screen. Even when using iOS keyboard to type, I can’t copy and paste the password. I mean, who the hell designed an app where you have to enter a password and a username on a 40 millimeter screen. The app is supposed to be a companion app, it’s like every other fitness company can get this figured out, but these guys.

    Simple. Clean. Great. Would highly recommend allowing option to add “reps” or “lbs” or “time” to ANY exercise: for instance for planking I can have “time” but doesn’t allow adding “lbs” I have on my back or weighted vest, or for Frenchies I can do “reps”, but can’t have load nor duration hold to add. Also allow RPE on “timed” exercises. Great app otherwise!

    Amazing app figured it out my first workout love how you can go in a plan and make a workout template or just wing it and add exercises as you go still exploring the app and finding new things on it but love the fact I can just get on it and go and it doesn’t slow my workout down
