Description

OurFamilyWizard is the #1 co-parenting app trusted by courts and family law professionals across all 50 states in the US, as well as Canada, UK, Australia, and New Zealand. The app has been featured in the New York Times, Parents.com, Verywell Family, NPR, WIRED, the Today Show, and more. OurFamilyWizard makes co-parenting easier. We designed these tools to help you reduce conflict, so your kids can thrive after a separation or a divorce. With our powerful and customizable tools, you can free up time, emotional energy, and mental space. With all your digital co-parenting interactions rolled up in one secure app, you can keep everything organized and documented. Plus, you can shield your kids from adult conversations they don’t need to see. NEW: STAY CONNECTED THROUGH CALLS • Stay close when you’re apart When you miss your child or they miss you, give them an audio or video call. • Connect virtually Calls offer an easy solution for virtual visitation, midweek visits, or long-distance co-parenting. • Automatic documentation With Calls, the details are documented: all dates, times, and in-call activity. All in the same place as your other co-parenting communications. SIMPLIFY COMMUNICATION • Use just one app No more searching for messages or attachments across DMs, phone calls, texts, and emails. Just use one secure app. • Track the truth Once you send a message, it’s permanent. First-viewed timestamps mean no more arguing about who said what, when, or whether it was seen. • Communicate calmly ToneMeter AI catches language that could escalate conflict and offers suggestions on how to rewrite your message. COORDINATE YOUR CALENDAR • Create a parenting time schedule (or custody schedule) The color-coded schedule shows what’s coming up, including events, holidays, and drop-offs/pick-ups. • Encourage reliability When everyone shares the same Calendar, mix-ups are a thing of the past. • Schedule Change Requests Need to make a one-time change to the schedule? Adjust the Calendar with an easy form. STREAMLINE YOUR EXPENSES • Simplify the math Keep clear, secure records of your co-parenting expenses and receipts. • Customize categories Create new categories, with your own percentage splits. • Centralize everything With OFWpay, you can reimburse your co-parent in the app—and you can even make scheduled payments for child support. (Or record payments via another method.) KEEP A MEANINGFUL JOURNAL • Log when you arrive Verify your presence at drop-offs and pick-ups with GPS Check-Ins. • Capture memories Record parenting observations and special, close moments with photos and text. It only takes a couple minutes on the website to customize and download a report from any app feature. GRANT YOUR PROS ACCESS With your permission and a Practitioner Account, your family law pro can view all app activity, help you manage the practical details, and quickly download reports—which potentially reduces your legal fees. • “Not able” to refund a new purchase

Be cautious about upgrading or renewing your subscriptions. They will refund a first time subscription only. If you upgrade or renew your subscription, they will refuse a refund.
  • Bugs for notifications

As a third party user, co-parent, notifications when a message is sent to me do not come through. This makes it hard for communication as I never know if a message has been sent unless I go into the application and look.
  • Mostly Helpful but DO NOT USE OFWpay with controlling coparent

This app is useful for documentation and automatic custody calendar. Period. And I will always recommend it for those features. The AI re-writing and tone meter is meh..I use ChatGPT instead, and my coparent obviously ignores the tone meter somehow…. I wish it could give meters like “belittling and blaming” or “commanding someone to do something”… I don’t use the calling features. The one major flaw the developers missed, which will put me forever at the mercy of a controlling coparent: one party can create a false “expense” for the other party, and proceed to take action on it (even force payment in OFWpay for a non-expense) without the expense being approved by the party who did not create it, and likely did not want to. (If you’re in a controlling relationship, you know how this looks in court that you were “reimbursed” for something you didn’t intend agree to) This flaw alone prevents my comfort with using OFWpay, and makes me even wary to use expense tracking. A second user functionality gap is the inability to sync the custody/events calendar with other calendars like Outlook, Apple, or Gmail. I missed a holiday-related shift in transition due to this. A third functionality gap: one party creates a recurring event on both parties time (such as therapy) and if the other parent reschedules one instance, they cannot edit a single instance or cancel a single occurrence in the app. So it looks to the court like they missed an appointment that was actually rescheduled (and noted in the calendar- but it looks additional)

My soon to be ex is verbally and emotionally abusive and I’m trying to find an app that will help me stop or slow the abusive communications while still allowing a lane for stuff about our kids. The app forces you to put their contact information in before allowing you to look at costs vs what’s provided. Not doing that because that will only set her off more. Deleted…

The family wizard app sucks for video calls, and calling and it sucks for texting and it says unstable Wi-Fi connection and it drops the video calls every time and it’s bad for the calling one too. It drops it too I wouldn’t recommend this app it sucks
  • Added AI...Boo!

I know a writing assistant is a LOGICAL use of Ai here, but I am tired of Ai infesting every aspect of modern life. I resent the addition of Writing Assistant. All it does is (maybe) help VC investors recoup their ROI. Co-parents should not be discouraged from using their own words and minds to communicate.
  • Great app

It has been a wonderful way to help our son.
  • Harry Potter and Hermione Granger would be disgusted that this app calls itself a wizard.

Don’t assume phone calls are recorded, I assumed they were recorded because I paid $150 but apparently you need to pay over $200 for the premium service to get recorded phone calls. The only magic this app performs is time travel back to 1999 and making money from your bank disappear. Just like domestic relations court the only reason anybody uses it is because of their relationships they have with all the courts it is literally the worst app on the App Store
  • Automatically charges

Kind of an expensive app but worked for what I needed it for, however; it automatically charges you for the following year. Tried to get my refund back since my coparent no longer wants to use it and was refused a refund. That’s a lot of money to not refund when you won’t be using it at all for the whole year!
  • It’s just an email service
