    God gave us the word of God and salvation for free. Why are humans charging for using and learning the word of God? I am just trying to read and learn about His Word and suddenly i get an ad. DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW DISTRACTING THIS IS WHILE YOU ARE SEARCHING A VERSE OR TRYING TO READ AND UNDERSTAND GOD’S WORD. ITS UNBELIEVABLE HOW CORRUPTED THE HUMAN IS. IF YOU ARE TRYING TO DO SUBSCRIPTIONS AND MICRO-TRANSACTIONS, AND GET MONEY FROM PEOPLE, YOU SHOULD GET A PROGRAM BENEFIT FROM THE GOVERNMENT WHERE THEY CAN SPONSOR YOU OR WHOEVER OWNS THIS. THERE SHOULD BE OPTIONS FOR DONATIONS. DID JESUS CHRIST CHARGE THE HUMANS FOR ETERNAL LIFE? HE DIDN’T AND HE DID IT FOR FREE BECAUSE HE LOVES uUS.     Why did you change your gateway bible app? What was so wrong with it? You should of left well enough alone! Now when you look up a chapter to read you have all these extra stuff attached to it. To much distraction is going on. Why? For a update? What kind of update is this? I wish I would have never updated this app. We really enjoyed the old one.

    I can’t find a place to leave a message, and I’m frustrated. I would not have chosen to make this public - oh well. I can’t highlight or take notes on the app. I can do these things on a browser. I love this app so much that I bought the plus version. I did all the things: sign out then sign in, deleted the app then downloaded it again. Please help me with this issue. I’d be really sad if I had to cancel my subscription.

    This morning, I opened the website to find a scripture in another translation. Multiple ads popped up containing photos of a nearly naked woman for a lingerie company. There are ways to filter ads. You either don’t care enough to be intentional about that, or you’re not well enough informed. I highly doubt the latter consider how well known and big this website / platform is. I’m not offended by seeing the female form, but I’m disappointed at the thought that this could be something a brother in Christ, a young child, or someone else struggling may see. Please do a better job of filtering what companies come through on your the websites ads, or don’t have pop up ads at all.

    For years I’ve used this app and now I can’t get it to open on any of my Apple devices. What’s going on with it?

    Whatever the update in the summer of 2022, this app has become worthless. Constantly dropping out, unable to stay open, losing track of scripture. I’ve complained and complained, but no one is listening. Prior to the recent update, I loved the app. Have notes for the past 10 years that I will lose - that’s just how bad the app has become. UPDATE 3/2024 It’s unbelievable that the update that ruined this app can’t be reversed. I’ve been in touch with admin (Kyle), but the issues have morphed into other issues. As I look back, it’s been over 5 years since problems came with some ‘update’. 5 YEARS!! How in the world can anything be so bad that after 5 years it’s worse than it ever was? I’m still trying to use the app, as there is no alternative to it. Besides, I have notes that go back to 2012, and I can still access them while reading the scripture in another app. UPDATE 6/1/26 14 Years of taking careful sermon and study notes, they are completely 100% gone. I tried reaching out for administrative help 2 months ago - no reply. So I have deleted the program from all my devices. I will never recover from the loss of so much information, shared with my children and grandchildren as they struggled with Christianity vs the world. Documented prayers and discussions, all gone.

    You have made it extremely difficult to share passages of scripture. It used to be a whole lot easier before your recent update. What would the Lord do?

  • Miss Parallel for iPhone

    I’ve been using app for quite a few years and I’ve always loved resources that are available on this app.. however I guess with this new revision or update there’s no parallel for iPhones, and that’s one of the features that I use the most. Hopefully you guys will make the change and include iPhones again.
