While the app home page loads quickly, the eNewspaper tab loads very slowly. Sometimes it will fail to load at all.

I am a current subscriber and a long-term reader of the Tennessean newspaper. When the paper version became unpredictable in its physical delivery, I switched to the Tennessean e-newspaper on the iPad. Now, even though I read the iPad e-newspaper version daily, I am constantly bombarded with distracting electronic META-style advertisements that encourages me to become a subscriber. In addition, I receive other distracting electronic META-Style advertisements while I’m attempting to read the e-newspaper. NOTE TO THE TENNESSEAN NEWSPAPER. I AM ALREADY A SUBSCRIBER! I already review the advertisements in the e-paper version of your ‘eNewspaper.’ As a PAID SUBSCRIBER I do not need—and should not be subjected to—further distracting electronic advertisements.

Absolutely not. To sign up for a “Tennessean/USA Today” account is nationalist technofascism at its finest. First you have to agree to being a legal US resident (to read the paper?), then agree to be tracked, share your information with 3rd parties on the videos you watch, and sign away your first born. No thanks.

It’s much better than the Tennessean’s website, which is mostly country music blurbs and entertainment news.

The news coverage is good. However, the comics are horrible!!!! Why did you change the comics? The comics are not worth reading. Political pressure????

Logging onto the Tennessean app takes me directly to US Today which I rarely read. Following my efforts to access today’s edition of the Tennessean, I received yesterdays edition which of course I read yesterday. Too much time spent trying to locate Saturday’s November 6 edition, I closed the app and read the WSP November 6 edition

…but the Send Feedback function was inoperable. I’m a subscriber and pop up ads are constantly interrupting my reading. Most if not all are USA Today, which are entirely ineffective. So please stop, or I will no longer be a subscriber.
