As a very organized person that loves to plan and keep everything all in one place, this has been an elite app for all that. I honestly have never left a review on an app until this one. I’ve used it for a full year and it’s been exactly what I’ve hoped for. I’ve used it daily for to-do lists, calendaring, organizing all my college assignments and deadlines, and more. Worth every penny. It’s also cool they are continually updating it and adding new features.

Tick Tick helps me jot down my to do list. All my ideas are finally in one place. I appreciate that I can create habits, I have constant reminder options and bullet point lists.
  • Still lacks a due date

Pretty nice, comprehensive, and smooth UX. But you can’t set a due date for a task. You can set a start date but that is not at all the same thing. Amazing how many todo apps do t have that feature. Also, projects are just folders and can’t contain any information describing them, they’re just a list of tasks. I don’t need a project manager but it would be nice to save two sentences saying what the point of a project was.

Like most of us, I am always searching for ‘THE APP’. An app that will do it all. I try an app for a week, maybe a month, then look for a new one. However, TickTick is the only app that I have had and continue to use consistently, without fail, since I downloaded it May 2025. I signed up for the premium subscription within 20 minutes of finding it, and keep using it even when I’m going through my “find a new app phase”. Nothing can replace TickTick as my Task app. Even for Notes, I find myself using it instead of Obsidian because of the “Task Activities” feature, which is light years ahead of everyone else’s version history. The Pomodoro feature is above all else - just because it simply attaches to a task so your record is accurate. I did want a full “habits app” so I went with Finch. I loved it! Until it crashed for no reason and lost my data. Then support took over a week to respond to tell me they can’t do anything, and they can’t tell me it won’t happen again because they don’t know why it crashed in the first place. All the data gone. TickTick has never done that. I can close the app out instantly after I write something and it’s there when I reopen the app. Even the times I have deleted writing because I’m half asleep on the app, I simply go to Task Activities and get it back. Needless to say, I’m back using the Habits in TickTick. Constructive criticism? Maybe I would like to see more features - even though it already has everything we could ask for. But it would be cool if it expanded to include the email integration with Apple Mail or IMAP email addresses…maybe add AI features…more flexibility with Habits (I simply want to use my own emojis for the habits). Regardless, TickTick is the ultimate app that I will also keep going back to - for tasks, notes, habits, everything. The countdown is not a good feature in my opinion because I just don’t need it. But it’s cool if you need it. The calendar also integrates well with Apple and has great views for my ADHD and overwhelmed brain. Plus the price - beats everyone. Just the best app. 1000 stars.
