    Horrible rigged waste of time
  • Great game! UI needs tweaked

Super fun and challenging. Just a few UI critiques. Cards should sit higher so they aren’t cut off at the bottom in landscape mode on iPhone and make them BIGGER. Even with 2.5x magnification on my glasses they are tough to read. Just move the characters up a little to make room if needed, there’s a lot of empty space.

Nothing to really get people invested. Can’t collect anything, all your stats go back to scratch if you get eliminated. It’s structured well. Like you can build on it BUT.. this is not a game for the long run.
  • Amazing game - terrible app

I love the game. I love that this is in Apple Arcade. However the controls are abysmal. Accidentally play cards all the time, the card is under your finger so it’s hard to see the details, etc. if that is ever fixed, this would be perfect!
  • Great game - awful controls

Controls absolutely suck. No controller support either is a huge miss for an Apple Arcade title.
  • Interesting game, bad controls

The game itself has a lot of depth and replayability, but considering that 80%+ of your interactions will be with inspecting or dragging cards, oof. No easy way to consistently and quickly preview a card, sometimes dragging one will pick up another instead, just really, really fidgety. It makes the experience just frustrating enough to not be worth playing, IMO.

Have sunk too much of my life into this. Ridiculously addictive. 10/10
  • Buy the normal game

This one is intentionally rigged to be more difficult compared to the normal game. This and Balatro.
  • RNG is terrible and enemies are too tough too soon

I’ve played for hours, learning each character and developing strategies along the way, even making it to the 2nd and 3rd floors. Unfortunately, far too many runs have been ruined by poor loot pools hindering me from getting stronger and the enemies are far too deadly even on the first floor. Like, what do you mean that all enemies are gonna hit for 24 damage each and I have no shield cards in my hand? “Oh? It’s because you’ve been too busy trying to survive this whole game because they would’ve killed you each round up until now if I didn’t defend and now all my defensive cards are discarded? Tough luck I guess.” If buffs for enemies didn’t stack infinitely or debuffs weren’t nearly always applied to me every match the game would be more possible. In the end, I don’t have ability to enjoy the game since I repeatedly die before I even defeat the first boss. If you like an unreasonably more difficult version of “Inscryption” then this is for you.
