Then you are in the right place! shapez is a relaxed game in which you have to build factories for the automated production of geometric shapes. As the level increases, the shapes become more and more complex, and you have to spread out on the infinite map. And as if that wasn't enough, you also have to produce exponentially more to satisfy the demands - the only thing that helps is scaling! While you only have to process shapes at the beginning, you will later have to color them - by extracting and mixing colors! FEATURES - Create a unique and complex abstract shapes factory in a satisfying way. - Unlock new devices, upgrade them, and optimize your factory by experimenting with diverse tools. - Develop your system the way you want: each problem can have many solutions. - Enjoy an elegant, minimalist and readable art direction. - Go at your own pace with an approachable gameplay and a soothing soundtrack. Don’t trust a developer who does this

I love this game I’ve been playing for around 3 hours so far and it is a vary addictive loop. Build factory, upgrade factory to make it more efficient, and repeat. Absolutely an amazing and fun game loop. A must buy for getting rid of boredom
  • Great game, bad controls

Ok, so, I have always enjoyed shape. I hope. I’ve been playing the demo one cool math games, and when I found out there was a mobile port I was ecstatic! One gripe though. I wish there was a way to place multiple of everything at once. That existed in the original game, and I don’t see why it shouldn’t carry over too. It’s still fun, but I would recommend the download, but I would recommend the non-mobile version unless you really wanna play it portably. Other than that, it’s a good game.

I have been a big fan of this game since 2020 and would recommend it to anyone. I feel like it is incredibly impressive that the creator was able to port a mouse and keyboard game to a touchscreen and it still feels satisfying to play. However there are a few things that can be bothersome to work around but again, it’s a mouse and keyboard game ported to your mobile phone.

  • The worst way to play Shapez

The controls are vary slow do do anything. To build a long conveyer you have to look ahead constantly. You can’t drag your finger to build a conveyer. It also doesn’t let you play past level 6. When you reach level 7 it shoves a pop up in your face and if you try to close it you boots you to the main menu. Swapping between building and deleting is very slow, it makes you tap and hold to start deleting (which takes like two and a half seconds). I was hoping this was going to be a mobile port, but it’s just worse in every way compared to other versions. Go play Shapez 1 or 2 on steam. You could even play the one on cool math games, at least that one lets you go past level 7.

I used to play this on my old laptop and it’s hours of fun! Even if its sequel on PC is better the first game holds up amazingly!
  • Challenges feel disconnected.

I did the free trial and the one thing that really stands out to me is each challenge feels disconnected from the previous. For instance you need to provide cut circles, but the next challenge will be to provide whole circles that are painted. I ended up wiping my factory thrice to complete the challenges since each step wasn’t building on the previous, but instead required either a whole new line or a heavy rebuild of the current line. Btw you receive no reward at all for leaving previous lines in place so it seems to really push to rebuilds for each challenge. Other games of this genre I’ve played at least give a currency reward towards buying infrastructure by leaving previous lines in place. The game is cute and I like the art style but it feels like a concept demo, not a completed game.
