    Please enable the ability for different speakers to automatically (or manually) be assigned different voices. (Thanks for the reply!) When I listen to a single reader read a whole book, that's actually pretty realistic for audiobooks, but those readers usually also do the voices for different characters, which actually, some voices actually try occasionally, but it's very rare. I guess I'm mainly asking for that extra step toward sounding like real audiobooks. (Funnily, while I still prefer real audiobooks when available for free, my wife prefers the custom voices of this service, so obviously you've done a great job so far.)

    I could not get this to work right with loading books no matter which method I choose except taking a photo. I was able to load two books using a workaround, but really they need to make it accessible through third-party or file or something else. I’m not gonna pay $11 a month with that amount of limited access.If I can load my own books, then it’s worth it. I tried loading from several web books, from files, & photos. Photo was the only one that worked and no one’s gonna wanna sit there and take 300 they’re reading. If they make it so you can manually load Or iTunes, I will gladly pay. The voices are great. And the concept is awesome. It just doesn’t work for me. I don’t know if it’s because of the bug with the iOS or the app. I am on the newest version and a new device it could be. Glitch where you if you have Apple Music and iCloud storage. I have seen that before where my manually loaded content was just. Not showing up. I tried every way to Sunday to load a few books. And I cannot get it to work. The first couple worked fine. So I don’t know why it all of a sudden isn’t working.

  • It can randomly stop working

    This app is absolutely terrible. There are much more better options but that’s not even my main reason. For no reason, it suddenly stopped working. No, it won’t work even on a new account, it won’t work even on a different device, so i resorted to trying a vpn. Nothing works. It became entirely unusable on all devices for absolutely no reason, so if you have a lot of saves audios on this app you can kiss it goodbye if it’s randomly decided that you can no longer use this app.

  • Skips After Pausing and Doesn’t Pause when during Notifications

    I really love the app especially Jessica’s voice. But recently every time I hit pause, get a notification the app skips forward like a minute (more or less). I have to manually search where I was and that’s hard to do if I can’t get to my phone all the time. Also, can the app please pause automatically and start to play once a notification comes through? It also needs to pause when the gps is giving directions and replay when it’s done. I tried to contact CS about the skipping issue but the CS chat was AI who told me to call in to create a ticket or something. I’m not going to call anyone thus this review hopefully y’all will notice and help cause then it’ll be a 5 star app imo.

    Since speechify became an unavailable due to over pricing and the removal of its best feature, I’ve been looking for a TTS. ElevenReader checks all my boxes. The voices are good, it can read at least forty hours worth of a website instead of getting overloaded, you can correct pronunciation. Super useful, 10/10, do recommend

    I travel a lot and listen to a lot of podcast and audiobooks on my travels. There’s always been some books I remember reading back in junior high or high school that I really liked, but there is no audiobook for it and I’ve always been patient and even requesting it even considered paying somebody to read the book and record themselves. But never got to it, but with this you can import your book and have many different voices either fast or slower speeds or even create your own voice that fits the book. Another huge plus was the ambient sound. You can choose from plenty. If you’re reading a mystery or even a suspenseful book, you can put a background sound that fits the ambience, making the story even more immersive.
