Notion mail is pretty good so far but must do a better job at screening emails that are spam, promotions, socials and actually important.
  • Super slow and buggy

It’s like going back in time. Where emails take forever to load and problems occur regularly. Going back to Gmail app. Just awful.
  • It drains battery a lot making it useless

Every time when I open this app, it gets stuck at the launching page and seemed to be loading. After a few seconds it loaded the content and ate up 1% battery. Plus, my battery health is 100% and I only have one mail account here.
  • This app SUCKS. *stuck in outbox*

In 20 years of email clients, this is the first time since dial up internet that an app/client can’t reliably send an email. It’s the worst experience I’ve ever had. Appx 25% of emails sent get stuck “sending.” And what’s worse is they just stay there…. Gone from any other client, not a draft, not sent, not in outbox. Don’t waste your time. While the desktop app is not bad, the iOS client is horrendous. I can’t believe they release a product this buggy.

There's absolutely no reason to use this app. It's just a clone of Gmail. The ONLY thing I want this to do is add emails to notion like I can in the web version, but that doesn't exist here. I cannot for the life of me understand building an entire app that STILL doesn't give a way to put emails into notion. This should be basic number one functionality if you're not going to give us an email forwarding address like Evernote and other apps have. UGH. I really want to move my second brain into notion but there are some huge stumbling blocks, like this one.
  • Needs more work

The app was okay to start off with, but lately, it’s been very buggy on iOS. In general, it’s so slow in loading an inbox, and more recently it doesn’t load my most recent emails. This renders the app effectively useless in keeping up with emails. Also, the lack of a unified inbox in 2026 is insane. I love the simplicity of this app, but it needs a ton of work. Since launch, it doesn’t seem like Notion has put many resources into improving it, which is a shame.
  • I really wanted to like this app

I’ve been dying to replace my Gmail app for quite some time. As a long-time Notion user, I desperately wanted to like this. However, the app is borderline unusable. It crashes constantly — usually when it’s trying to load new mail, but even sometimes when you’re in the middle of composing a message. This app was not ready for public use, which is a trend I’ve been noticing more frequently with Notion and their new features.

I’m into simplicity, things that look clean and work great, and notion meets that for my productivity. Im using notion to organize myself and business and wanted notion mail as my business email app, to stay in the family. I’ve been collecting some feedback since I started using it a few months ago, feel free to let me know if anything has already been fixed: - Embedded links to text not available on mobile - Ability to edit a scheduled email on mobile - Bug where I trash mail and it stays behind and goes to mail, so there’s 2 of the same one now. - Bug where I move an email to inbox but it stays in the same place (spam or one of my named views) - Unable to figure out how to add new named views directly from Mobile - Way to edit notification sound for this specific app is not available - Emails will take at least one minute to send but not give you the option to cancel. Then it continues to say sending even after it sent. I always have to restart the app to make it go away,on mobile - Named views seem to be attached to the login, not the account. Every time I log out on my computer, all the named views are permanently deleted, and then I have to remake them. I should be able to log out and log back in and keep all named views, because sometimes the app is not working properly and I need to log out of my account and log back in. - There’s no iPad app, please work on making this a fully supported app on iPad/tablet also Other than that, thanks for this app and for continuing to update it!
  • Can make the screen responsive for tablets?

It is very difficult to use on iPad, nor is the web version open for tablet use.
  • “Meh” for now, but OK

Really hoping Notion puts more eggs in this basket b/c it really has a lot of potential! It’s true, it’s pretty glitchy, but in a way that seems like it could easily be fixed if they put more effort into it. My guess is it’s possibly treated like the B string team, second to the main Notion app.
