In 2025, the American Musicological Society (AMS) and Society for Music Theory (SMT) will hold their annual meetings jointly on 6–9 November 2025 at the Hyatt Regency Minneapolis. It will be the largest scholarly music event of the year and will feature hundreds of papers, workshops, roundtables, lectures and performances.
