that's some sort of scam. i've got several technical issues with infinite loading and now this "AI" bot are telling me this nonsense: "Unfortunately, appeals are not available for technical issues when all attempts are exhausted"

I would not recommend the Duolingo English Test based on my experience. During my exam, I encountered multiple technical issues, including camera malfunctions and system errors. For a high-stakes test that costs $70, the platform should be much more stable and reliable. When I contacted support, I felt that the responsibility was placed entirely on me rather than addressing possible system faults. I was told that background apps or internet stability could be the issue, despite having a strong and stable connection. Instead of acknowledging potential technical problems, the response focused on blaming user-side factors. Given that many students taking this exam are applying to universities and may come from limited financial backgrounds, the price feels high for a service that may require retakes due to technical instability. The fee waiver process also appears difficult to access. Overall, the technical reliability and support experience did not meet the expectations for a paid standardized test.
