Description

A mobile terminal designed for AI coding agents. Your coding agent runs on a server — you're not always at your desk. Moshi bridges that gap. BUILT FOR AI AGENTS Check on Claude Code from the couch. Nudge Codex from the coffee shop. Monitor Cursor, Windsurf, Copilot, or Aider from anywhere. Your agent doesn't sleep, and now neither does your access to it. TALK, DON'T TYPE Voice-to-terminal with on-device AI. Command your agent hands-free using Whisper speech recognition. No cloud, no latency — everything runs locally on your device. NEVER DROPS Powered by the Mosh protocol that survives network switches, sleep mode, and subway tunnels. Your session stays alive no matter what. GET NOTIFIED Webhook alerts when tasks complete. Start a long-running job, pocket your phone, and live your life. Get a push notification when it's done. FACE ID FOR SSH KEYS Biometric unlock for your SSH keys. Private keys stored securely in iOS Keychain, protected by Face ID or Touch ID. Never stored in the app. PROPER KEYBOARD A terminal keyboard built for real work. Ctrl, Esc, Tab, arrows, and Tmux shortcuts. Not an afterthought — designed for terminal power users. SESSION RESUME Sessions persist across app switches. Come back anytime and pick up where you left off. Your terminal state is always waiting. PRIVACY FIRST - SSH keys stored in iOS Keychain with biometric protection - Voice dictation runs entirely on-device - No passwords or keys transmitted to our servers - All terminal data stays on your device A terminal that picks up — and never hangs up. Moshi is essential to my workflow. CLI on my Mac via tmux from my iPhone, totally seamless. Five stars.

Was going to buy lifetime at $79.99 the other day, but holy guac the jump in aggressive pricing is basically a nogo for anyone not using this for business. It isn’t $119 or $129.99 for a new update, it’s now 3x the cost if you haven’t FOMO’d. Frankly, who knows if this will inevitably be a legacy app and another product release or trend pivot depreciates the entire license. The app is probably a good investment but the cost is audacious without question as it’s no longer a really a reasonable or good deal for the full app/lifetime. As a subscription, you’re better off with other apps.
  • Where have you been all my life, Moshi?!

I spend a lot of time connecting to my home lab and cloud servers from my iPhone. I manage running containers, packages on the host, etc. Over the past 18 months, my usage has skyrocketed thanks to Claude Code, which allows me to make progress on my first-party apps and open source projects much more effectively than attempting to tap out code in NeoVim. I’ve been using Blink shell for years, but have never been very happy with it. The sole reason I’ve stuck with it comes down to one feature: proper handling of custom fonts with programming ligatures and NerdFont icons. I feel like I’ve tested dozens of apps and they either don’t handle ligatures or don’t have support for custom fonts at all. While Blink works, you have to go through a whole song and dance with uploading your font to a web server and writing a CSS file that embeds it. PITA. Enter Mochi! Not only does this app have support for custom fonts, you can add them directly from Files. No fiddling with CSS or web servers. The ligature support is perfect, and NerdFont icons render like a dream. Not only does Mochi pass the font test, it’s superior to Blink and every other terminal app I’ve tried, with awesome customization abilities, first class support for tmux, handy Claude Code features I never knew I needed, and intuitive management of sessions and favorite servers. I could go on and on. Five stars isn’t enough, frankly, so I’ve gone ahead and paid for a lifetime license, even though it will take years to make financial sense. I consider it a small price to pay up front to reward the developer for crafting such a wonderful app. Thank you!

Frequent updates, fair pricing model, and the app works well. I would recommend! You do need to know how to set up the host machine properly.

I use it with Codex and it is truly amazing. I can get more stuff done on my phone now with the help of this setup. I used it with tailscale to get into my laptop at home, and I never worry about lid close stops the agent from running any more.

I can’t remember the last time I paid for an app on my phone. I loved terminus but Moshi free was so much better that I ended up paying for it and am so glad I did. Definitely recommend

Kudos to the dev for the dedication to build this. I was already starting to build something similar as I found Terminus as a long time user to be limiting for agentic workflows when your already a deep user of tmux ssh mosh and zellij. I was about to build something similar to this and pivoted. It's really cool to experience what's been achieved. There's some hard problems to work through to get it to where it is today. It's a privilege to watch it rapidly grow.
