Privates tracks your menstrual cycle without ever leaving your phone. There's no account to make. No sync. The only time the app touches the internet is if you go to purchase one of the character packs to dress up your lil friend. Your log lives in an encrypted database on the device, locked with a passphrase you set on first launch. This means that if you lose the passphrase, the data is unrecoverable. You can log periods, basal body temperature, symptoms, moods, intimacy, LH tests, and notes. From that history the app estimates when your next period starts, when you're fertile, and when you ovulate. If you're trying to get pregnant, conception mode reframes the same predictions around that. Security Features: • A decoy PIN that opens a separate, empty database • Alternate home-screen icons. The default is a mascot; you can also swap to a calculator, a weather app, or a notes app • Auto-lock that snaps the app shut after you switch away • Retention rules that auto-delete older logs by category if you want a smaller footprint Privates is free and stays free. Nothing in the app is gated behind a purchase. The supporter screen has a tip jar and some cosmetic packs for the mascot — entirely optional, and they're the only reason the app ever needs to be online.
