I start my day with a hot cup of coffee and the Abide app. It gives me a sense of peace. It takes me away what was the day awaits me. It inspires me to start my day with a new look an a fresh beginning. It’s as if it’s the first day of the rest of my life.

This app helps me sleep almost on command. As a new mom I have adrenaline rushes in the middle of the night and can’t get back to sleep without this app. It helps shift my gaze on Jesus and calms me down quick. They have tips and tricks to help you relax while giving a good message. I also used this app when I was single and working a lot. It was something I could put in my ears that would calm me down for a midday nap or a meditation. I mainly have used this to help me sleep and it is worth every single penny. I also recommend the app Pause by John Eldridge. I use that mainly for meditation. I have used this app for meditation before and used the journal prompt after.

I started with the free version, which has limited meditations, and I absolutely loved it. I wanted to go deeper, so I upgraded, and I’ve really appreciated the variety of topics the app offers. During one of the hardest seasons of my life, this app helped bring me back. It was one of the things that taught me how to give myself grace. The relaxing background music, especially tracks like “Divine Protection,” is incredibly powerful—I swear some of it feels truly anointed. There were moments I could literally feel spiritual heaviness lifting off of me. I also love the tree feature. It gives me space to reflect on what fruit is actually showing up in my life, and where it’s missing, I ask God to help me grow in those areas. It’s been such a meaningful tool for me. I can’t live without it. Thank you so much for creating this app. May God bless you

I have a special needs child and he cannot sleep without the abide bedtime stories. He loves all the planet, moon and sun stories narrated by Chloe. My husband, my other children and I also use the abide bedtime stories to fall asleep. The stories are all rooted in biblical stories and truths and I recommend Abide to so many people.

  • Can never find topic that is advertised when I click your push notifications

[Updating a previous very positive review now that my count of devotions heard is up to over 700…(1), I have in 2026 and today still, 4/28/26 been having a problem a year that an interesting sounding push notification topic comes up on my iPhone 16e, but when I follow it, it leads to a menu of devotions, and week long study series, —none of which are the subject teased in the notification—Can you have it link directly to the devotion it is advertising? Or at least allow us to search your crammed-full menu? I have a Bible reading plan with my paper Bible I’m lucky to keep up, so I don’t use the “sign up for a week of …” come-ons, really. So my use of the app has fallen significantly though I’m still paying for it, hopefully someone else is gaining satisfaction from the typically well done meditations. Though the breathing and relaxation really doesn’t suit me if I listen in the AM, and I find it all kinda “new age” Previous review: Have just lost a paper journal yet again in my house, so the times I’ve “written in my journal” here are also of importance in the wee hours, not bedtime, when I can contemplate & have energy to write at the same time. Have copied some to notes in my iPhone, which I’ve had one of for almost a decade - so maybe more secure than paper? For now anyway. (2) Just having listened to the Jenn Stoltzfus / Tyler Bods “I am Loved” devotion, I used it as springboard, with a screenshot of your starry night graphic, on FB; having recalled my Dad using that phrase (1) time to me in my life (we were not a family where “I love you” was said, ever, either: though a good upbringing otherwise.) My suggestion: one problem I have in the Roman’s 8:35-39 journey, which is likely all of our lifetime journals, to see if God ever leaves us, is not the danger / deprivation / illness / storms struggle, nor the power of angels or anything created, except MYSELF. Perhaps it shows narcissism but that scripture leaves put one created thing which I constantly fear WILL show God will or has left me or that I’ve been fooling myself I’m loved: MY OWN FAILURE, amplified by Satan’s semi-true or true accusations… Perhaps a devotion where the pilgrim passes THAT created hurdle would be good. Yeah, I know Paul did address it when he said he was the “chiefest of sinners” but I think we are all, in our failures, and disappointments in ourselves, capable of feeling we are a special case, and even “Chiefer” than Paul… I bet some devotions of this nature will be coming ! You demonstrate God’s power & constancy very well of COURSE. Thanks again

I use this app just about every single morning. Some days longer some days shorter but each day it's a wonderful start to set my heart on the Lord! I have a few favorite narrators but all of them are very good! I absolutely love and recommend this app!
