  • Keeps crashing

    I just got my first cricut the other day, made some designs and saved them. I was suppose to finally make my first cuts today, but the app had to reload and now all my designs are gone. Now I have to sign in and be connected to the internet to even run it. Then it just kept on crashing after I made an account. This is such a bad experience for me. I think I’m returning the machine. This is supposed to be relaxing. My blood pressure keeps rising every time I try to reload it. This is literally becoming bad for my health. BTW, I got the Joy2. How ironic.

    I absolutely hate that I purchased a cricut for $300 and then have to pay a monthly subscription to even use it. The subscription should at least come with a supply box each month. I’m basically paying to use something I already purchased

    edit: DONT TRY TO DELETE MY REVEIW!! how dare you!! every update make it more and more annoying to use this app. just let me do what i need to do and stop changing stuff for the worse. making the app not work if you don’t update, constant pop up to pay for GARBAGE is sooooo annoying. i’ve been using these machines for 6+ years i don’t need to to keep getting in the way, just make it functional and leave it alone! i’m forced to use this app for my business because i have circuits and unfortunately it’s just terrible. every update it seems to get worse. It’s unresponsive you can no longer features that used to be available. They’re constantly popping up, trying to get you to pay for it, which I refuse to do when you have no marketable aspects that would make me want to pay for this. The system is set up to make you waste product, waste paper and waste your time. Stop getting in the way and actually make the app useful.

    my Cricut works great. good machine, does what I need it to do when Design Space does what it’s supposed to do. I bought a Cricut for my small business to save time and make nice labels. nice labels? yeah, after working every single loophole this ABYSMAL software makes you circle through to get one single project done. I can’t believe y’all charge people to use this trash. seriously, invest in your backend. this is insane. i’ve wasted so much time trying to use Design Space consistently.

    I have had my cricut maker for over 6 years. Design space used to work great for the first few years and now it just sucks. It literally gets worse with every single update. I should NOT have to close out the app and restart it every time I want to make a project. I design something and go to print or cut and everything freezes. It keeps freezing at the “set base material” screen and refuses to load. I have to save the project, exit the app and restart it in order to proceed with my project. I have to answer the same question multiple times. Also, for the last several months, whenever I plug in my machine, my laptop can never find it. It’s really getting old and frustrating. I have to reconnect and restart and do way too many unnecessary steps just in order to make a project and it was NEVER this way in the beginning. Cricut design space software just sucks big ones these days. It’s so bad that I despise making things anymore. Making things used to be a way for me to unwind and now it’s just too stressful strictly due to the horrible software. My machine is perfectly fine. This review is specifically for the software. None of the developer response troubleshooting worked. My laptop is essentially brand new and has nothing on it and has plenty of storage/ memory available. The app works fine on my iPad and phone which are the ones that are low on storage.

    Dont get me wrong, it’s wonderful! But it takes me a good seven tries, a password reset, and two restarts to even sign in. And it ALWAYS makes me re set up my machine for no reason and can’t even find it!!

    I’m unsure as to why I can’t just move on my canvas freely. It takes 3-8 times before it just leaves me in the spot I want. I pan the screen to where I want to go and it jumps me straight back. On both tablet and phone. I’ve kept the app up to date. I’ve deleted and reinstalled it. It’s making projects abundantly irritating and quite frankly p***ing me off. Also when trying to select the picture for contour the calibration is so far off I basically have to tap 2 inches from what I want to make it appear or disappear. Who wants to tap the bottom boxes and figure out what goes where on a complex piece. Fix this bs you’ve broken.

    i upload a photo & it starts to get all laggy and slow , not only that if you close the app due to memory you loose everything you were barely making , i give it a 0/10 , im unsubscribing not worth my money !!
