She loves this game but the flavors are all locked. They should include more!

I initially bought this app for my kids and paid a “one time fee” to unlock all the content. Now the app is updated and what I paid for is gone. We are now required to pay a monthly subscription for all the content. So disappointing. Definitely going to look for something different!

I downloaded this for my nephew when he was 3. He likes to cook and this really helped calm him down when he was throwing tantrums or sometimes to distract him. Now, it sucks! I refuse to pay for the “extra” recipes when they used to be free. He was able to make cupcakes, pasta, and ice cream in so many flavors, styles, etc. now they want you to pay for the “full” access. Puh-lease. I guess it is time to delete the app and look for a better, FREE cooking game.

I paid for this app along time ago for my granddaughter we’ve had it for a couple years and all of a sudden now it’s telling me I have to pay for it again? what kind of scam is this?
  • Why can’t you restore what’s already been purchased?!

I bought some of the recipes a few month ago. Then I updated it and I need a subscription?! Why can’t I play what I ALREADY paid for?! Rip off
  • Bought the app; now it’s a subscription?

We bought this app for our kid to play maybe a year ago… she’s played it a lot, but recently when she goes to play all of the recipes and foods, that we paid for by the way, are gone and everything is behind a new subscription paywall. Hopefully this is a mistake, because I have to imagine this would be in violation of some sort of App Store best practices to say the least.
  • A greedy greedy situation

Update: I emailed customer service to ask for a refund and they said to go to settings and click restore purchase. I now have access again. Original Review: Extremely disappointed. I originally purchased this game at a flat rate for full access, but following a recent update, my kids are now locked out unless I pay a monthly subscription fee. It feels like a bait-and-switch to paywall content I already bought. If the business model is changing to a subscription, the developer should honor previous one-time purchases. I’ll be seeking a refund.
