Joe was exceptional in not only troubleshooting my issue, but giving me specific instructions to getting my issue fixed! In addition he even followed up a few days later to be sure all was well! Super impressed!

Maris and the Nixplay support team were very helpful when I had some issues accepting and utilizing an invitation from a family member to share photos with her digital photo frame. Although their first attempt to correct the issue didn’t work, Maris continued to work the problem and communicate with me - even to the point of (with our permission) going directly into our accounts to fix the issue.
  • Screwed customers out of storage

This company sold a frame with a certain amount of storage, then changed the storage so that you now have to either delete what you have to add pictures, or pay them for the storage purchased originally! What a con game.

These frames are constantly reverting to a black screen, they play the same pictures over and over even though they’re supposed to shuffle. I’m paying for extra storage, but I never see the pictures that I’m paying extra for. Working with customer service is a waste of time

I was extremely satisfied with Nixplay technical support at my support technician Par. He was extremely helpful, prompt in his responses, professional, and most importantly help helped me solve my issue with my frame. I greatly appreciate his help.

The saga continues. I get that developers want to be relevant and keep their jobs but now they hid- or eliminated- setting to change photo transitions, what photos to play, etc. it all used to be in settings. Now, who knows? Update to the update- got a response to my review with recommendations to improve performance. I’m, yeah, go re/index those albums, okay? If you want to know nothing, let developers (who are not users) respond to issues. Hilarious. 2026 update - Nix decided unlimited storage was now a paid option rather than grandfathering in those who bought thinking that’s what we would have. It still doesn’t shuffle through all photos regardless of how many times I change settings hoping to see a reset. Be prepared for that disappointment. Rather than fixing that their developers tweak features like his to add captions to make it look updated. I’m wondering if an iPad slideshow for my Google Photos might not be a better option. If you are getting for grandma and will be sending photos probably nice. Customer service is hard to reach and find resolutions. My frame won’t let me add captions until after uploading photos. Many chats and screenshots later, I was still getting the “cut & paste” responses from them. I have tried every which way to get photos to “play all” but it really just plays the most recent of my 4,000 photos. You have to just go select different playlists manually and change periodically as it doesn’t really shuffle your collection well. Maybe I have a defective frame? Who knows but I’ve learned to just do my own work arounds rather than rely on Support. Overall, great quality photo display.
  • Limits on networking your product are ridiculous

Nice frame, but basic plan limits will most likely drive me away after returning. Why would you limit friends?

I have a problem renewing my membership online. Lou was such a great help. He stayed in contact with me by email until I was able to renew for the upcoming year. Thank you Lou!
  • Very Happy 10+ Year Customer

I've been a Nixplay customer for ten plus years. I’ve purchase three different frames over the years and am VERY satisfied with the frames and app. On this app, it integrates well so sending images right from the phone is a snap. You can either send directly from your Photos app, or when sending many photos at once or when sending larger images or videos, you can use this app. It’s so easy. And regarding support, up until a couple of days ago I never had any issue with any of my devices. But when the frame locked (first time ever) I contacted support and received a clear email from Maris in their support department on how to correct the issue. That fix took no more than two minutes, but I also had some follow up questions about the frame settings and options I had not explored before. So over the course of a couple of days I had an email exchange with Maris and every time I sent off a question, I quickly heard back from Maris. So over my ten plus years I'm quite pleased with my Nixplay frame and now having had an interaction with customer support I'm equally pleased!
  • Tech-support Experience

This week I received excellent support for an app issue. Turns out the issue was me! Joe “troubleshooted” my issue. Turns out my albums weren’t being displayed because I didn’t close two different ads. Joe was kind enough not to shame me which I appreciate. Personally, I think the $20 annual subscription fee is reasonable for unlimited storage and helpful tech-support.
