  • iOS App version 6.0.30 broken

    Current app version 6.0.30 broke the Quick Response function on the Eufy dual cam doorbell. Worked fine before. Please investigate and rectify issue.

    This app seems to have new problems with each update. This latest update prevents the app from playing ANY recorded videos. The only thing I get is the little folder icon trying to open the video!

  • Over complicated

    Very hard to navigate and find functionality you need. Also, takes over 1Gb of memory! Which is mostly app. Its not reasonable.

    I have all three security systems to compare and much prefer the others. Only because of “response time”, the others are much quicker! I really like the Eufy rotating camera with the solar panel- great crisp picture and I also have the doorbell , however I have replaced it with another brand. But again, it too slow on response time.

  • Cumbersome needs desperate work!!

    The problem with eufy is they try to combine too much into one item and instead of having individual people working on individual sections they have a few people working on everything and you can clearly see where things will fall behind with that thought process. The eufy security section of this app is absolutely horrible. First they claim that there is an “AI”. It’s NOT an AI. It’s just an algorithm, looking for change in pixels and that’s it. How do I know this? because their “AI” cannot tell the difference between a flag and a human or even a PARKED car and a human. For the last 19 months, it has identified a car that it sits unused parked in a driveway, as a human. I’ve flagged it. I’ve reported it and nothing changes and it’s even worse when it rains. The functionality of this app is absolutely a beta and they clearly don’t have enough people assigned to it to fix any of the problems. They just rest on the fact that it exists, it’s semi functional and let’s just rake in money. It’s absolutely pathetic as a security app. It’s so bad that I’ve had to turn off the alerts which completely undermines the purpose of having security camera.

  • Not happy with new layout

    New layout needs major work. The most important function that is not working is recording and saving to gallery. It doesn’t work anymore and will only record a couple of seconds, this not good. Takes lots of time to navigate through options as sliding menu is now gone and has changed. Also not able to move camera anymore by dragging finger on screen, you have to press the arrows icon and use that which gets in the way of zoom function. Lots of connectivity issues and loading problems. Please bring back the old layout, this is not a good update.

  • Too many ads, not enough control

    Mostly clean and simple interface, but the amount of ads they shove in your face all over the app to promote other products I have no interest in is ridiculous. Also, while most basic features are easy to use, some very simple but important controls are just missing. For example, if you disable notifications for vehicles the camera also stops recording vehicles. There is no way to have a camera keep recording certain events without also being bombarded with notifications. Simple but big quality issue.

    Never trust this security cameras it’s stop suddenly during the event showing it’s recorded 1:30 minutes but when you play back only found 30 seconds, trying to backward the event it’s never do backwards , sometimes the event more than 2 minutes but the company after I called them I did understand they trying to save battery instead of the reason of those cameras built for, it should be the security that what I believe

    The new app is horrible. The old app was much easier to navigate. My saved maps keep changing on their own.
