I use rosetta stone multiple times a week, my language skills continue to improve, and the time on Rossetta Stone has become an enjoyable part of my day as I put time aside towards language learning.

Love the program, gloat over it, think it is wonderful but I don’t like that in the menu bar on Mac where it says the app name to the right of the  drop down it reads «Rosetta Stone: **Learn Languages**». Takes up too much space, looks tacky, and states the obvious. It’s ugly. Otherwise great program, worth every penny. 🇨🇴🇪🇸

Love how they have multiple languages for one time purchase of an unlimited access pass. Good study that you can use on multiple devices and download offline for times when you don’t have internet.

I've learned so much in this app! I used to be able to only know 2 words but unaware of their meanings. This app helped me so much, and by far, the best!

I like the program. I have the lifetime all languages license. It’s great to be able to choose any language as your needs change. I think the exercises are well designed and the ability to set the level of “fussiness” it uses when evaluating speech. It would benefit from, instead of auto-advancing after finishing an exercise page, adding a [next] button to advance. This would allow one to be able to review the correct answers and let them sink in a bit to see patterns and evaluate errors.
  • Least expensive and most frustrating way to NOT learn a language

Rosetta Stone is one of the least expensive and most frustrating ways to NOT learn a new language. The core principle of the app is fundamentally flawed: showing TINY pictures of things while asking people to click on them or repeat a phrase is NOT a good way to teach difficult language concepts. Grammar-related topics are often the most frustrating because the bad clip art pictures lack the context necessary to determine the correct answer. "I/You" and "We/They" questions are particularly problematic in this context. Shown pictures of a woman writing and a boy writing how do you know which image matches the phrase "I am writing"? You don’t and that’s the problem.
