As a numismatist, the app is sometimes inaccurate. Do not rely on it. But otherwise, pretty good.

This app doesn’t show realistic pricing like other apps.

This app is so helpful. I really enjoy it and it’s just really great and I have some coins that I’ve always wanted. Wanted to see if they were worth anything and this is a really helpful lap. I really recommend using it.

Very handy, almost essential to keeping track while making new acquisitions. individual coin info very helpful but not up too that provided by Numista, but that’s asking a lot. don’t like AI manipulated coin images, they are offensive and the antithesis of why we collect individual coins, lose it. would like to be able to organize my sets - even alphabetically would be a big improvement. would like access to my photos. would like to be able to add coins not in the apps library. these last three things will always prevent coinsnap from really being a numismatic tool of consequence. App is appreciated.
  • This made inheriting my late father’s coin collection really fun, and now I am now a coin collector!

My father passed this year and he had a big coin collection which none of us knew anything about! Coin collectors wanted $189 per hour to appraise the coins. For all I knew, they might have actually cost us the entire collection in the end. I found the CoinSnap! app and I decided to scan every coin myself in honor of my fathers love for coins. Now that I’ve scanned all 890 coins, I have learned so much. I am now an official coin-collecting NERD and proud of it!

Works fine most of the time, coin grades are very helpful. In some cases, mistakes on mint mark. Also, for coins that have mint mark on the rib e.g. US Presidential dollars, says “s-proof” that is wrong. Some feature have to be added for that. Also it would be nice to have a multiple-coin pre-recognition with marking those that are missing in the collection.
