  • Don't waste your time - does not pay out

    Do not waste your time with this app. I saved up my points for months to redeem a $50 gift card, however upon redeeming the card was not correctly sent to my email (or even spam). There is no other way to access the gift card via the app. I've contacted the "support" team weekly for over 2 months and each time I get an instant auto reply telling me my issue is being looked into, which obviously it isn't.

    Update 6/7: I finally got a response from customer service after threatening to report them to my states Attorney General. However, it was just a generic ‘someone will reach out to you’ response with no help whatsoever. And of course, no one has yet to reach out to me. At this point, I think the app should be removed from the App Store since it’s just defrauding people. Gift card redemption has been broken for a while with no communication. I’ve emailed customer support several times and have never gotten a single response.

    The last 2 gift cards I’ve redeemed never got sent. I asked for help and never received any. The gift cards say they’ve been redeemed but I can’t get them! It’s been over a month of waiting and I haven’t heard anything.

    I think Walmart is a great place to shop. I love this opportunity to express my thoughts on items sold at your stores and the delightful people you have working there. Your morning group reminds me of some of my motivation activities in the military.

    **Update 6/5/26. You have GOT to be kidding me!! Your “update”, telling us to check our email for gift card details fixed absolutely nothing, because I NEVER RECEIVED THE ORIGINAL EMAIL!!! How are you allowed to be anywhere near apps, coding, anything technical???? Fix it or close it because you are wasting our time!!!*** You DID NOT fix the gift card redemption issue!! I have filled out the contact form twice now, both times took almost a week for a generic response trying to place the blame on how we navigate the app. THERE IS NO URL TO SHARE, we are on the frickin’ app!!! IT IS NOT US, IT IS YOU!! When I redeemed points for a gift card at the beginning of the month, it took my points and placed a gift card link in my history. However, when I click on the link, all I get is the spinning spark logo-it will not generate the gift card barcode. I then tried older links, NONE OF THEM WILL OPEN. I tried on my laptop as well-it just refreshes back to the history screen. Also, I never received the usual email confirmation. I sometimes spend 10-15 minutes on each survey, with the understanding we are compensated with point to use towards Walmart gift cards. You are not living up to your end of the agreement!!

    This app is very easy to use. The surveys are simple enough. It takes a while to get enough points for gift cards. If you’re patient and have the time, it can be worth it.

    This app used to work perfectly for me in the beginning. Until the first issue I had where I was not able to redeem my egift cards. THEN it progressed to not being able to log into my account even entering the correct password. I try to click on "forgot password" to reset it but I never recieve the code I need. I've reached out to customer service NUMEROUS times and keep getting the run around instead of one of them fixing the issue directly. I'm close to just deleting my account and the app if this issue doesnt get resolved.
