Description

MyNetDiary is the calorie tracker you'll actually stick with. Log meals in seconds with a free barcode scanner, Meal Scan (just photograph your plate), or quick search. No ads, no account required. Then get on with your day. Trusted by 31 million people. Named the top weight loss app by Forbes Health (2025). Highest-rated by the American Journal of Preventive Medicine. The New York Times called it simpler, quicker, and better-looking than the competition. Featured in Today's Dietitian, alongside WW and Noom. WHY PEOPLE SWITCH Our food database has over 2 million staff-verified items with up to 108 nutrients. That matters because most apps rely on crowdsourced data full of duplicates and errors. We verify ours every day. We're also fast. We logged the same 127 foods in every major app over a week. MyNetDiary took 31% fewer taps than the most popular calorie tracker. Less time logging means you actually keep doing it. The free version is generous: barcode scanning, macro tracking, a food diary, a calorie calculator, and progress charts. No ads, no paywall tricks. Active members lose an average of 1.4 lb per week, according to the MyNetDiary Efficacy Report. Many switched from other diet and nutrition apps. WHAT YOU GET FOR FREE • Food diary with search, favorites, recent meals, and copy-from-day. • Macro and protein tracking with clear daily targets. • Nutrition tracking across 108 nutrients — vitamins, minerals, omegas, amino acids — plus water and exercise. • Calorie calculator, deficit tracking, customizable dashboard, and progress charts. • Coaching tips, meal reminders, shopping lists. • Professional Connect: share your diary with a dietitian, coach, or doctor. • Inspiring community with daily success stories. • Articles by Registered Dietitians and how-to videos. When I say I have tried every single food tracking app, I mean every one of them! Overall, this has been the most user-friendly and best app that I have tried.

This app helped me throughout school to go from 270 to 180. I did use other apps before this, but this is the best one because of the bar code scanner

I’m sure this is a wonderful app, but as with anything your experience can sometimes override the quality of the product I tried this out during a free trial and realized it was too much for me I canceled it the morning of the last day and lan hour later I saw I was charged for the app $59.99 I tried to contact Apple and get a refund, but I was rejected for a refund because this app did not qualify for I’m sorry but free trial should be free trial from the day it starts till the last day that you have . I don’t know to me It seemed very clear. It’s just gonna make me more hesitant to download an app and try try a free trial

Been using it on and off for years for when I need to remind myself of a healthy balance. Does exactly what I need to, track calories and scans in my food, with the basic plan.

Wonderful options to choose from, the scanner to scan your food works perfectly and you can accurately track your calories and weight intake in one day.

This app is very easy to easy and intuitive. I splurged for the premium, I’m worth $50 a year. It makes me think about what I’m eating and has motivated me to lose $45 lbs since Jan 1st ‘21. I plan on continuing to use even though I’m at my goal weight. I feel better, less aches and have gotten into old bathing suits for summer. I like how it adjusts calories as you get closer to your weight. Remember, it’s calories minus calories burnt. It up to you.

If I could give this app no stars I would. I wanted an app to help track my calories as I need some assistance with my stress eating and overeating. When I was a teenager I was anorexic. That’s been 20 years and I’ve been fine since. But when I was asked questions setting up the app I was told I was unable to use the app due to my history of having an eating disorder. Talk about being disrespectful and hurtful. I guess if you’ve recovered (or are recovering) you aren’t allowed to get some assistance from this app and be honest. This is why more people don’t get help because you open your mouth and get slammed with negativity. I am disgusted with this app and the developers. Immediately deleted and I will be telling everyone I know about how insensitive this app is.

I’ve been using the app since March 2019 with calorie counting and lost 35 lbs. Keeping an eye on weight and nutrition has been really helpful through some serious medical issues. Recently a nutritionist recommended low carb to help me push through to a healthy BMI and this app is just as fabulous with the low carb macros: fiber, protein, carbs and calories. In 12 days I am finally on the downward trend.
