  • I’m disappointed

I’m disappointed with the app’s behavior and monetization design. Even after disabling subscription reminders and premium prompts, the app still constantly suggests features that turn out to be Premium-only after you tap them. This is frustrating and feels misleading. Premium-only features should either be clearly marked everywhere or fully hidden when the user chooses to disable Premium promotions. I don’t need AI tools, advanced analytics, or any of the extra premium clutter. I just want a clean food diary and recipe tracker without endless upsell attempts. The food database for Russia is also very poor compared to competitors. Overall, the experience feels unnecessarily pushy and overcomplicated for users who only need basic calorie and recipe tracking.
  • Great App but it Badgers you to subscribe

I like this app and I want it to work for me since I paid for this version. However, you should be allowed to avoid the constant badgering to pay for a subscription service for different things the app offers especially after paying for the app. That is actually pretty unacceptable. It would be best if you could turn this off. The whole reason I purchased the app was to have a calorie counting app that didn’t force a subscription on you. It’s really unfair that I paid for this and still have to deal with that. I would have rather dealt with ads on a free version than basically have to deal with the same thing because so many things you click on lead to asking you to pay a subscription. Not cool. If I choose an app that does not have a subscription fee then please remove the things that require one so I can use the services that are covered under the one time purchase fee and don’t have to keep being led to the buy a subscription page.

App works great to keep me accountable!
  • Hard to navigate

Very hard to navigate. If you pay for the extra recipe packs, the recipe seem to be hidden somewhere. Not easy to jump, back-and-forth between logging your meals and looking at recipes
  • Needs search option

Informative. Almost overwhelming. Needs a main menu search option. Would then give a 5 star.

I don’t think that the AI photo of your food is an accurate count of calories when I weigh it versus actually just taking a picture. It’s pretty different.

This has helped me in so many ways to achieve the goals. I have set for life. It has been a journey and it has been amazing so far. Easy to use and a daily habit and hobby for me! 65 lbs GONE! On maintenance now for six months. Still going strong. Love this tracker. I use it as a nutritional coach for all my clients.
  • Most excellent

I’ve successfully used this tool to lose multiple 10s of pounds, and the lack of using it in-between is why I needed to use it again! Keeping track of what I’m eating isn’t just for weight loss, but also maintenance, and for ensuring fiber and protein intake, or any other such data. The “My Meals” feature is my favorite, allowing for home-cooked recipes to be entered as items, search by meal, then tracked as the ingredients again… allowing for per-instance adjustment (smaller chicken this time, etc). The guess-by-photo feature is interesting, but I don’t fully trust the amounts it comes up with. The next great improvement I hope!
