App won’t load. VPN not the issue. Web version only option until this is fixed.

What happened to the rest of this edition. Only Page One and Opinion show up.
  • New updates for watchlist and market are terrible!

Wow, over time the content has become less insightful and market-moving news harder to find, but I’ve stuck with the WSJ purely for the ease of use tracking stocks and market data. Now, with the most recent app update that ease of use is gone! You just took away the one piece of value I still found in the WSJ app. I wish you could get back the news and data focus that you had 20 years ago, that was always what made the WSJ stand out, but now you’re trying (and failing) to be just like everyone else and in doing so giving up your value proposition and one real point of differentiation. I wish this weren’t true.

Beware. If you click on article and can’t access and subscribe, it may charge you for a service that does not include the article or only gives a Barron’s online subscription. Do not buy anything through this app. Customer service does not care and will ignore the issue.

It’s a great read, these days, but I have to use the mobile site rather than the app because the app, inexplicably in 2026, doesn’t show reader comments.
  • Great reporting, app doesn’t qualify.

I miss the old app, where it read like a newspaper. I am a baby boomer and still remember what that was like.
  • APP needs serious work

Content top notch, but the app is serious bad. 1. When I open an article, even if the content has been downloaded before, without internet connection it still refuses to load. This is terrible - internet connectivity should not affect article viewing for the articles that were already downloaded. 2. Offline mode is buggy. Today is May 10, 2026. When I am on a subway, the app reverts all the content back to May 03. 2026. That means the app is not capable of storing the most up to date version of the content. 3. Comments are not available, this is not that big of a deal but it shows how outdated the technology is. It should be trivial to have this. All of this means the tech team is likely making a decision to prioritize serving advertisement, preventing fraud. The tech team should focus on delighting loyal customer like me, that just want a seamless reading experience regardless of internet connectivity.
  • This app NEEDS a low data option

App has too much garbage video and audio which auto downloads and auto plays. Makes it totally unusable and wastes battery and data. Use Apple News instead.
  • What does it take to get it right?!!

Once again, there is a problem with the left column displaying on an IPad. This is an ongoing problem that has been going on for some time now.
