My in-laws took the Houston Chronicle when delivery to Trinity, Texas began. My mother-in-law was still reading it at 100. When we moved there, we began taking it. A few weeks ago, management decided not to deliver it to Trinity anymore. Some days I get three or four at a time. Other days I get nothing. As a journalism major, I like fresh news and to pick up a newspaper and read it. I'm sorry that you decided to discriminate against Trinity. Mary Ellen Thornton

I am disgusted by the obviously one sided liberal agenda in the reporting. The Chronicle has lost any sense of fair reporting that the media was known for in the past. I’m very close to canceling my subscription. As soon as I find a good source of sports information I will probably do so.
  • Hearst monopoly

Since Hearst owns almost every major newspaper in Texas they seem to want to use column inches to fill us in on out of Houston issues that don’t concern lots of fellow readers. Sports is especially true and they even go so far as large stories about the basketball Warriors. Who really cares about them? If you weren’t the only paper in Houston you wouldn’t have this subscriber.

Now that the paper has gotten smaller, I can get through it in an hour, including the comics. There are subjects not seen on TV especially the columnists

Total liberal garbage forced upon the reader.. even the sports page is a day late and a dollar short. I’ll not be renewing ny subscription to this left-wing piece of bird cage liner.
