Glitchiest garbage app in the world. I have to spend three times as long as I should to find back doors for using the most basic functions and Adobe seems to have entirely given up on fixing any of the bugs. I wish I didn’t have to rely on Illustrator so much for work.

Every time I load a project it fails. Emailed and tried to find fixes but no response. I tried deleting most projects and cleared 20gb of space but won’t load. Would give 5 stars otherwise but until it’s fixed it’s basically unuseable

The app constantly shuts down while I’m in the middle of a design and doesn’t save the progress. I feel I have to save after each action just to be safe. It’s aggravating I paid for the subscription and the app constantly shuts down. Please fix ASAP

It’s been over a month of constant crashes, unable to work, save work, open files, generate new ones, no one solves, no updates I mean, what gives?

Only use this app for the bare minimum. It will crash every time you have multiple layers and you WILL lose all your work, even if it says saved offline.
  • Non-stop crashing

Terrible lately. Can’t even start a new project. Up to date iOS, restarts, memory cleared. I’ve tried everything. Either fix the problems or start refunding subscriptions because I’m literally throwing money with this right now.

This has to be a joke, right? This thing functions like it was vibe coded by an incel.

    Program crashes quite a bit.
  • How is this app still so laggy

Not great. A paid subscription app should NEVER go this long without needed updates. The operational status of Illustrator, even on the brand new iPad Pro, is very poor and unacceptable. Very laggy and unresponsive most the time, requiring a force reset and reload of the app every 10-15 minutes. Who need to lose their job because they don’t do it? App developers?
  • Buggy and lacking desktop features, but still effective.

I have used illustrator for a longtime on my desktop, and just made the switch to my iPad. I expected more from the app honestly- but it isn’t terrible. I like how intuitive it is, and how it is a simple interface. However, it is missing some key features and tools, and it glitches quite a bit (I have the most recent update on a brand new ipad, so it is an issue with the app) which can get a little annoying. However, with all of that being said, I still prefer illustrator over the other apps out there. I just feel like Adobe is a bit behind on their apps for tablets. Hoping the next update fixes these issues!
