If there was ever a company to make you feel like you're less than everyone else, this is the one! Record breaking profits and treating employees like absolute trash. If you're looking to volunteer, this is not the place 🤣
  • Awful app

The app is painfully unreliable and riddled with glitches. Accessing Dasher support is nearly impossible, as it consistently freezes when you try to use the 'need more help' option to chat or call support. Their AI is also abysmal. If I want to speak to an agent, I should be able to, but even then, they are usually just as ineffective as the AI.

Was using this app as only means of income due to situation, got a cash delivery not knowing it would be $70 and delivered it, then realized I had to deliver $70 worth of orders to make any money again, car messed up and now I have no money to complete more than $30 worth of orders and there is absolutely no way for me to make any money right now due to there horrible interface and sucky customer service

I accidentally deactivated my dasher account in February 2025. I have called, emailed and filed an appeal. I still have yet to get my account reactivated. It’s now June 2026. How can I get my account restored? I need the extra income.

Have worked as a Dasher for over 5 years. Always a top Dasher until the new rating system started. Went from Platinum to Silver very fast as the App does not allow sufficient time for pickups or deliveries! Impossible to be within their time limits. Over 400 deliveries in the last 30 days, 5.0 customer rating. Max number of points for everything but on time deliveries. Which is the only category DoorDash can not control! Over 18500 lifetime deliveries and no loyalty by DoorDash!

Doesn’t pay like it used to… need more money per order! Also I hate glitches especially when I decline an order than immediately get the same order!! That’s not fair! I accept every single order 99 out of 100 until that ruins it! Other delivery services apps are way less strict in every single way and pay more!
  • Door dashing in smaller area

After doing about 20 DoorDash I’ve actually been pleasantly surprised. It’s actually feasible for extra cash (definitely not for a full time job depending on where you are)it pays decently usually. There are however some things that really are annoying and are bringing my rating down a lot. 1. The in-app gps system is garbage when starting to navigate after a location. You can usually turn around and go the opposite direction of where it wants you to go and be better off. I wish it predicted which way you’re facing instead of assuming it’s forward. 2. In my area I’ll occasionally get offers that just make zero sense to accept. Declining these hurts your record and gives you worse deals in the future. For example, I can only deliver in one small town, to leave more than 6 miles beyond that town doesn’t work well. So when the app offers me a 13 mile drive for $14 dollars you have to remember I have to drive 13 miles back as well! So I naturally decline than and that hurts my record. I wish the app would give mercy for declining obvious declines that would basically be a net loss to drive to. 3. Overall though I’m happy with the app and it’s easy to get started and go in about 30 minutes. I’d love to hear some feedback and see some changes here and I’m sure I’ll find more issues and positive things along the way.
  • Gross product, wouldn’t use

The product seemed really selective and remotely run. I liked it a lot the first three months I used it and then I had like a sweaty hot summer day and the work was slow after that. I couldn’t tell if it was a recode or a review but they never mentioned it, and then my strong suite, being on time, the metric was stuck the whole time, and I worked for over 2 years. It seemed like someone was really ruining the work there out of like jealousy. It seemed very susceptible to this form of manipulation. It’s not at all like working at a local restaurant where they see you and they really stand by your work. This was more like orders people would try out for fun. Uber X might be a better platform.
